  1. I think depending on where you look they have different descriptions. Your post is showing the latest with the recent change they are implementing. Previously (last week) is said Butler. I believe the other post above is when you go into your booking and look at the room details.
  2. If they had any sort of competent IT department they could update the app so we could send a request to a central contact and then they could just arrange from there. I honestly prefer to do things over text.
  3. This actually looks so confusing, are they going to give us a spreadsheet with who we need to contact for all the different services? They need to have 1 direct contact for the guest and then let that person figure out who to assign the task to.
  4. I do not completely agree. We had a Genie on RCL and it was no different than when I had a Royal Suite on Celebrity. I was contacted multiple times in advance - all requests were done when we arrived in our cabin. Our butler was just as available as the Genie on RCL. We actually had a same leak problem in our cabin and our Butler made sure it was taken care of correctly and even gave us vouchers which we didn't even ask for. To be honest the Genie on RCL was a little too intrusive, she would show up at every dinner location we were at to check on us.
  5. From what I remember the ships are open all night when they are docked overnight. You can always verify once on board and then update transfer time.
  6. If there are 10 of you, you might want to arrange a transfer in advance. Not sure how easy it will be to get a taxi back to ship late at night.
  7. Why not just spend the night and then head back to the ship in the morning? Bangkok is such a awesome city. There are also lots of very nice reasonable priced hotels in Bangkok.
  8. But I believe on RCL that Pinnacle get access to the Suite lounge and restaurant. So could they be planning to give that back to Zenith?
  9. On the US site for the Sky Suite it is now showing this - Previously it showed Butler.
  10. Why would you go back to Aqua class just because you do not get a butler? I agree with the other poster that there are so many other benefits of the Sky Suite that still make it much better than Aqua class.
  11. Are you sure it is an AQUA Suite you priced or just a Aqua veranda?

  13. So I wonder if that means no more pre-cruise emails from Shoreside Retreat for those in a Sky suite? I think it is time for another mass email push to the executive offices. I understand making changes but to just not plan to inform anyone is bs.
  14. That is exactly what I said earlier. I will bet they plan to do the same as Royal and treat Sky suites like Junior Suites.
  15. I just hope they do not go as far as Royal. Junior suites do not get access to Suite lounge or restaurant.
  16. I booked a guide with Go With Guide for Okinawa and he is picking us up at the port. So far it is a guide only and we will probably do public transportation or maybe get a vehicle also. Kagoshima we plan to do on our own. They have a sightseeing pass that looks like it will be easy to use to get around and then taxi if needed. We are staying 2 nights pre-cruise in Yokohama and have tours booked both days and they are picking us up at the hotel. Are you actually sending messages or emails and asking if they will pick up at the port?
  17. Can't you just book your air yourself and not use Celebrity Air? I have heard too many issues with Celebrity Air. Depending on the cost difference not sure it would be worth it to use CA.
  18. Yes I understand that I was just responding to the other post about requesting "whatever you want". As I said there is a big difference in what you get depending on suite class.
  19. The problem is they do not accommodate Sky Suites like they do the higher level suites.
  20. I have found chicken Biryani to be spicy. I like heat but that is why they give the side of Raita sauce to cool the heat.
  21. I agree that I do not think this was intentional but RCG has the worst IT I have seen. Their website is a mess and their app is no better. I am not sure they do any testing before the implement changes.
  22. I agree but for my upcoming Japan tour I found a lot of the providers want us to book via Viator. I think they might be shorthanded just starting back up. I also found their prices to be very close to the actual tour provider and no deposit or payment until a few days before the tour. I have also been able to communicate directly with the actual tour operators. But every other cruise I have always booked privately and directly with outside tour companies.
  23. I am cruising in October. It is under Dining>Special Offers and I only see it for 2 nights right now.
