  1. It's a flat rate of 60 per day. No tax or service charge added.
  2. Just go to YouTube and search for Princess (insert ship name) mini Suite. There are fabulous video walk throughs.
  3. Deluxe balcony rooms are smaller with a loveseat size sofa and only a shower. Mini suites are larger, have a larger sofa, a privacy curtain to separate sleeping/sofa areas, two tvs, one for each area, and a shower/tub combo.
  4. Not necessary to print them at all. Porters have tags at port and can fill them out for you when you drop your bags and attach them for you.
  5. I really enjoyed Spotlight Bar. Such a fun show with lots of energy.
  6. Yes, oversold bookings do happen. It's rare, but Princess does try to mitigate it by offering Move Over offers to booked guests. And they usually sweeten the pot enough that they get enough takers to free up inventory. In the rare case that this isn't possible, any good travel insurance plan would cover you. I can't recommend any particular insurance plan, but Insure my trip website is a very good starting point for comparing insurance plans for any coverage you would want.
  7. Be aware that no matter which you book, weather can impact glacier viewing day. On our glacier bay cruise day it was raining heavily and foggy. We were unable to see anything that day.
  8. Yet one more example of the Phillipines call center being unable to do the simplest of tasks, giving poor information, and creating problems for guests unnecessarily.
  9. The call center that was outsourced to the Phillipines is the worst thing that Princess ever did. They give bad info, can't escalate to management, and have zero power to resolve issues when you call.
  10. That shouldn't be a problem if the ship clears on time. It's a 30ish minute drive to the airport.
  11. Small consolation if the next port is the end of the cruise.
  12. Oh, they do give away those vouchers, but the chance of winning β‰  reward vs time spent IMO.
  13. Red lovers would revolt. But white wine lovers want a super chilled wine, because it warms up so fast. Yeah the first sip is cold, but the next sip is approaching perfecton.
  14. Spend just 1 day doing as many activities as you can squeeze in. Then relax and enjoy the ship and whatever you feel like doing. I hadn't done it in so long, and dragging my hubby along for the day, we had such a fun time. But learning origami, tossing darts, a ring toss, and a paper airplane throwing contest were all we could take before retreating back to our books. But FYI, those spa pamper events with a chance to win something are just a chance to sell you their overpriced products.
  15. The cabins for ambulatory guests include accomodations for hearing impaired such as doorbells that make the lights flash, and a TTY phone.
  16. You will bid on a category upgrade and will have no idea what room you might be assigned. This is a great option for people who don't care where they land on the ship. Not so much for people who have specific needs in where their cabin location is.
  17. I replied to the question with my personal experience/knowledge. If things have changed since then due to the rollout of the app, you could have just said so.
  18. Actually it's been quite a few years since I did lol. I guess things have changed πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ
  19. I had used a gift card to make my deposit and needed to cancel the cruise. I was told that the funds would be returned to the card. But when they were not, I called to investigate and was basically told sorry, nothing they could do as it was non refundable.
  20. That's great if you know you'll take the cruise. But those gift cards are non refundable if you need to cancel for some reason. I recently learned that lesson the hard way.
  21. Thank you for not stuttering. No one likes a stuttering reply or a stuttering answer.
  22. 3 days? Because most people say 30 days. And 30 days is my experience multiple times.
  23. Shortly after sailaway, go ahead and pop up there. The staff will be available to answer any questions you have. They may not be up there before sailaway, as they may be tending to muster check in stations, etc. But they will have evening activities that night. And they will provide you with a teen club schedule as well.
  24. I've had 4 cruise upgrade bids accepted and 1 rejected. My experience has been that they come sometime around the 30 day mark. The one time I didn't get the upgrade I never heard anything, and they just showed pending until I boarded the ship. Now I've heard that they are offering counter-offers telling you that others are outbidding you, and offering you the chance to raise your bid.
  25. Britto's art definitely isn't everyones cup of tea. I personally find it to be whimsical and charming in a Picassoesque kind of fashion.
