LARGE number of recent films and I think there are also some classics.
Sometimes they also show films on the BIG screen in the theater with popcorn and drinks "included!"
-
Thank you or the detailed explanation - VERY helpful!
(Problem is I'll probably forget it tomorrow.)
But thanks again!

Can you say:
" Cheapest bid!"

PS: US soccer star Abby Wambach went to same school: Our Lady of Mercy, Brighton, NY.

I'm not a big watcher of most sports - !'d rather do something than watch it.
I won't be at sea during the Super Bowl. BUT I sincerely hope Regent does show it for the numerous fans.
My only interest is that singer Renee Fleming has a fantastic voice and will sing the anthem at the Super Bowl.
My wife and two daughters went to the same private girls school that Renee did! (Wife and daughters weren't great singers but great people!)

I was VERY disappointed we couldn't stop at Devil's Island on a recent REGENT cruise! I had several hacksaws for my friends on Devil's Island - they were even MORE disappointed! I can't FedEx them!
Regent sent tender out and decided too rough - didn't seem rough to me! Crew member said they hardly ever get to stop there because of swells. (Not all the "swells" were on the ship's manifest.)

TPAtravel fan I will bet you a free Regent Cruise that 49ers WILL NOT WIN - then again they can't lose!
My winning cruise must be at least two weeks long - anything shorter isn't worth the hassle of packing, flying etc
GOOD LUCK!

am booked on regent highlights of asia for march 21-april 8 sailing.concerned about unrest in bangkok and smog in china.any comments[/quote
NO cruise line will put their ships or passengers in harm's way.
China reportedly cleaned up the air recently. When we were first in China many years ago air was OK - VERY FEW vehicles then . Bangkok air isn't the best either -try face masks
We were trekking in Nepal many years ago when there was political unrest with a lot of threats! We were cautious but it was part of the adventure! Very GLAD we went - and survived!

Marc writes the TRUTH!
Even if your tour is full there are often cancellations. Don't give up!
Last Nov. I had $1600 in OBC - all my grandkids got nice watches for Xmas!
Some of the girls also had jewelry.
I used some leftover OBC for laundry - I don't do laundry while on vacation!
Have a great cruise!

I suspect "snail" is taking a looooong time to get over losing the colonies!
-
I should add that I've been to Rio more than six times and never had a problem.
Also, I'm not exactly the " Incredible Hulk!" - more like the "Incredible Wimp!"

Perhaps it's time for Regent to use another SA city for beginning and ending cruises.
NO city will be 100 pc safe but Regent could search out the safer cities.
And pax would not need an expensive Brazil visa. I just spent $400 for Brazil visa that's good for 10 years - I will not get my money's worth!

I have a STRICT RULE to NEVER drink or use brown, grey, yellow or any hue of water EVER!!!! I will NEVER drink any suspect water even if anyone tells me it's "SAFE!"
Fortunately there is plenty of bottled water on every Regent ship I've been on. And there are myriad alternatives at every restaurant and bar on the ships.
Dirty showers is another problem.

We spent 28 days on Navigator from Cape Town, South Africa, across the Atlantic to FLL with NO discomfort - enjoyed every moment of the cruise! The standard cabins are larger than Mariner's , which we liked.
I don't remember what deck we were on but I usually try to get low and amidship.
We've been on much smaller ships rounding the Horn and Drake passage between Argentina and Antarctica without any problems.

As far as I know NO Regent passenger has EVER died of starvation and I doubt very much you will be the FIRST!

Dave, don't leave us hanging!
Which line "included" pushy photogs?
My GUESS ii's one under the Carnival tent!

Gratifying!
Good to see Regent still can be a "class act!"
I hope your guests enjoyed the experience.

I noticed many Regent itineraries have FREE wifi along with shipboard credits and some discounted Biz class prices - check them out. I saw the perks on brochures sent to me.
Another good reason to get brochures!

Pingpong, thank you for the very insightful and interesting report!
-
Thank you for an excellent report - the GOOD and the BAD or not so good!
Good to read that you even suggested where the Bad could have easily been GOOD!
I hope the BIG Wigs take note!

If I may jump in, I too will be a first time Regent cruiser . We will be traveling with another couple and plan to dine together sometimes, or even having desert together ,are the tables 4 top ? or are they tables for 2 ? . Is it open seating or assigned seating. Thank You
Open seating, tables for 2, 4, 6 etc. You can set together and or share on a larger table to meet other guests.

Voyager is my favorite of all Regent ships. NEVER bothered us but some people are bothered. Remember, it's a moving vessel with all kinds of machinery and still contends with various weather conditions!
Look at bright side - you won't have to feed the bed with quarters - FREE vibration!
BTW, the beds are VERY comfortable, especialy after a hard day at sea!

Many people love Navigator so only OP can decide for themselves. I confess it's our least favourite Regent ship, mainly because of the comparatively cramped public areas when it's busy and the lack of any forward facing lounges. They are all at the back and can be a little "uncomfortable" during rougher seas. It's true that she's a converted Russian weather (?) ship and so wasn't specifically built for cruising, hence the "bumpy ride" sometimes.
I could be wrong but I thought Nav hull was for a Russian SPY SHIP. We sailed It from Cape Town to FLL - 28 days with no problems
