My experiences tours were fine- sometimes in foreign country guide may not have best English. I usually grab free tours unless there is a much better tour with a modest surcharge.

I always upgrade to Biz and often deviate for air lines and routes I want etc - worth it. A TA Regent expert can be VERY valuable!

If you have miles use them or book your own flights and get a rebate from Regent if you don't use their flights. But you do lose transfers airport to ship or hotel and back to ship.

Figure out what works the best for you!

I've made many ship to shore telephone calls from my cabin and they were great. I had 3 hours phone time BUT if I did not have the telephone hours a call is $6.50 a minute! I just used telephone in my cabin - very efficient.

I also HATE Taxis - only cab drivers I trust are London cabbies. Thanks for that site!

But Beware, Regent can be addictive!

The "all inclusive" is wonderful! But A BIG difference is you are sailing with a few hundred pax instead of several thousands! That's priceless!
