  1. Glad to see that you finally made it onboard. Hopefully, the boarding process is the low point of the week.
  2. Our office cabinet install is 99% complete. There were two shelves missing in the two glass upper cabinets. They'll get delivered and installed in a few weeks. 🤞 We need to touch up a few drywall screw "pops" and install some cable trays under the workstation areas (they arrive tomorrow). We can then move everything that's currently on our kitchen island and dining room table back into the office. Will be nice to have our office back again.
  3. Great review so far. What a nice extended family. Our daughters loved vacationing with their cousins, since they didn't get to see them too often. We never cruised together as a large family though. That would have been fantastic. And after about 25, you never have to admit your real age, until you get to senior discount age.
  4. We just watched the first episode last night. Looks like it should be very good. I agree with you about the physical things that Jeff Bridges is doing. We had a similar thought about John Voight in Ray Donovan. Although it wasn't quite what Jeff Bridges did, he had some pretty physical activity and was about 80 at the end of the series.
  5. Very impressive! I've had 4 eagles but have never had a true eagle where I hit a par 5 green in 2 and made the putt. The rest were hitting an iron into the hole from a par 4 fairway, and a hole in one. Those are very nice and require hitting a good shot, but there's a bit of luck involved with the ball actually going in the hole from that distance. To hit the green as close to the pin as your grandson did, and then make the putt, means hitting 3 straight really good shots. He clearly has some golf talent. Congrats to your grandson!
  6. And look to be a great option for families. Just be prepared for $$$$ as I think all of the 2BR ATS are Star Class.
  7. I haven't cruised on Celebrity yet but the next cruise that we book will likely be with them. We've enjoyed Royal and will be D+ after our next cruise, but the Royal cruises are all starting to feel the same. Losing some of that Wow factor that we used to feel. We want to shake things up a bit. The suite area on the Edge class looks great and we'll get matched to Elite status, for whatever that's worth.
  8. Whatever you decide to do, don't miss the Vasa Museum. One of my absolute favorites.
  9. Love the CLS, but they're definitely not good for privacy with more than 2 people. DW takes the upstairs bathroom and closet. I take downstairs. Balcony is extra deep with full lounge chairs facing the water (for the side CLSs). Lots of space to spread out downstairs. Easy access to the SL and CK is great. You don't need to spend your entire cruise on deck 17...never had to wait long for an elevator. Use the Suite Concierge for disembarking and the elevator will come straight to you without waiting. 😉
  10. I'm no Doctor, and don't even pretend that I know much about medical care, but this doesn't look good. I hope Andy isn't in any pain.
  11. I completely agree with Peaky Blinders (including closed captioning 😁), Inventing Anna (Julia Garner is scary good), and Reacher (Alan Ritchson is a much better Reacher than Tom Cruise). We have two episodes left of Stranger Things season 4 and are loving this season. The new season of The Boys is out also. Waiting until we're done with Stranger Things before starting that. If you have Apple TV, we really like The Morning Show.
  12. Micheline's old Acura dealer suggested a service that they said wasn't urgent but was recommended. Can't remember what it was but might have been brake pads. We told them we'd wait. Mysteriously, when she took her car in for service a year later, they didn't mention anything at all about the need for this recommended service. The issue must have fixed itself. 🙄
  13. I'm sure that the golf cart would be better appreciated in Georgia. I live in more of a Florida-Georgia neutral zone, but John is deeper into Florida and not far from Gainesville. 😱
  14. "It's a BS question...Cause Chevy didn't make a 327 in '55, the 327 didn't come out till '62. And it wasn't offered in the Bel Air with a four-barrel carb till '64. However, in 1964, the correct ignition timing would be four degrees before top-dead-center." Love that movie. The two yutes.
  15. And the next time that first baseman was at bat would not have been pretty. I agree with what you said earlier...hard to believe that Owen plays hockey and football and it's in a baseball game that he gets injured.
  16. I always said that I want to do everything myself at least once. I mostly stuck to that strategy when I was younger (except for car repairs). It was a good excuse to buy tools. Now that I'm retired, my most important skill is knowing who to call.
