Disney Cruise lines in Sydney?
Aus Traveller replied to Chiliburn's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
We saw a shuttle launch on one of our trips to the US. We (and our kids) visited Disney World and we all remember the shuttle launch. Superb. -
On a cruise to Tahiti and Hawaii several years ago, we paid quite a reasonable amount of money into our on-board account. When we were in Papeete, I wanted to buy some pearls, but the shop wouldn't accept a credit card - it had to be cash. We went back to the ship and got all our remaining cash from our safe, but it wasn't quite enough. I then went to the reception desk and withdrew the amount still in credit in our account. I got my pearls. đ

I don't believe it for one minute. And I don't know where they would have got the $7.50 amount from unless it was from when tips were charged, that is prior to 2010. If they were charging gratuities now, it would be much more than $7.50. For interest, Princess stopped charging the auto gratuities on 1st May 2011. We were on the last cruise where tips were charged, and the first one where they weren't.

Princess Shareholder question for Aussies
Aus Traveller replied to Cbtours's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
When Princess and P&O want a copy of the shareholder's statement to prove their shareholding, they should expect that many people would send it as an attachment. I will see what happens now. -
Princess Shareholder question for Aussies
Aus Traveller replied to Cbtours's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
I have email both addresses again - Princess and P&O. This time I have added the shareholder's statement into the body of my email in case they couldn't open my attachment to my earlier emails. -
Princess Shareholder question for Aussies
Aus Traveller replied to Cbtours's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
I got that automated response when I sent my Princess request to P&O last Friday. When I emailed P&O seven weeks ago for the shareholder's OBC for our P&O cruises, it was put onto the account a couple of days later. The same email (with cruise numbers changed) sent to Princess, fell into a black hole.đ -
Princess Shareholder question for Aussies
Aus Traveller replied to Cbtours's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
Maybe not. However it is the address some from the benefits department emailed me. I have spoken to someone on the phone this morning and she checked with me a couple of times that I am using that address. She asked me to email again. I did. I get the feeling they cannot click on the attachment symbol on my emails. đ I have just now down-loaded a new stock statement and will email it again. Maybe I will try with both addresses. -

P&O are responding immediately, but Princess isn't. đ -
Disney Cruise lines in Sydney?
Aus Traveller replied to Chiliburn's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
But going on a Disney cruise cannot compare with going to one of their theme parks. -

I can see why the cruiseline would need to view the passenger's passport with its photograph, to ensure that the person was who they claimed to be. I can't see the benefit of checking the vax cert or the negative test results if these have been up-loaded. I realise that in the US, you had to have a verified negative test result, not attest to a negative at-home test as we do in Aust. -
Coral Princess Ship Photos
Aus Traveller replied to Kiwi_cruiser's topic in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers
The front decks are a great place when the ship goes into Milford Sound, or through the Panama or Suez Canal. Deck 11 is our favourite because, depending on the direction the ship is heading, there can be some shade from the Bridge that is directly above. -
The Pacific Explorer is scheduled to be in Brisbane on Thursday. The weather forecast is for a cold and windy day, but at least it should be totally fine. I hope I can see the ship at the terminal. During the last two and a quarter years, I have missed seeing the big white ships sailing across Moreton Bay.

What are you looking forward to the most!

I also love the eggplant parmigiana. And salmon and cream cheese (need the calcium!) for breakfast followed by eggs benedict. -

Maybe when it is working again, they can then select their arrival time. Optimist again. đ -

No disembarkation time available when I checked an hour ago. But maybe the fact that you can't get into that section might mean that it is being updated and will be available soon. đ I'm an optimist. -
If you don't mind, I would like to have an idea of the cost of a bottle of any of the white wines listed on the board. The price of the cheapest one will give an indication because usually there are a few within a few dollars upwards. I am expecting that prices will have increased for bottles as well as for glasses of wine.âšī¸
