If you have the column of green ticks, you still have the 'old' medallion app. That is all I can get on my PC using the web version of the medallion app. A new version appeared on my phone yesterday. In the Health Status section, there are a couple of questions to answer, then the vax cert has to be uploaded. That is where the result of the COVID test has to be up-loaded just before the cruise.
  3. I wish they wouldn't keep changing their protocols. I am hoping the instruction about uploading the neg RAT result, will revert to what it was in the webinar - attest to a neg result.
  4. I think that Princess has simply changed the name of this wage subsidy to make people feel better about paying it. On Australian-based cruises the crew's base remuneration is much higher than on cruises where the auto gratuity makes up the bulk of their remuneration.
  5. The crew appreciation (gratuities) is definitely included in the fare for Aussies & NZ'ers on Australian-based cruises.

  7. I am using an android phone and had filled in the required info a couple of weeks ago. On the opening page I had a column of green ticks and the advice that we are in the green lane. I had selected the boarding time of 11am-11.30am (group A). When I opened the Medallion app yesterday, instead of the green ticks, there was a large green square with a QR code in it. In the top of the square it has 'Arrival Status - Your Arrival Group A' and below the QR code it says 'Proceed to Green Lane. Have your Medallion and passport visible upon arrival'. I didn't have to do anything to access this new version of the Medallion app. I still can't get it on the web version. I hope this helps.

  9. I hope that the wording about 'proof of a negative test' has simply been the importation of wording from the overseas site. Similarly, on our Medallion app is tells us to 'have your Medallion and passport visible when you get to the terminal'. This is clearly an erroneous import from Princess' USA site where Medallions are posted to passengers' homes. We will have to monitor the position re proof of a test and Irene is the best one to do this. 🙂 If Princess is changing their rules from what they stated in their webinar, they should advise all their clients.
  10. When I click on the box with the order number I get a visual representation of the medallions I have ordered. Maybe it will work for you tomorrow ...... or the next day ...... or ...... 😁
  11. The steps were - click on 'Order history' then double click on the rectangle that had the following Booking #XXXXXXXX Order #OCEAN-871165 Placed on April 30, 2022 Status: Pickup at embarkation I hope it works for you.

  13. On the 'order Medallions' page, I clicked on the little rectangle that had our order number. Then I could see an image of what we ordered. It shows black medallions and lanyards.
  14. That is what some of the others have also. Wow! The page finally opens. That is step 1. P.S. I have answered the questions about vaccination, but I think I had done this weeks ago. The next step will be to upload the vax certificate. I would find this easier to do on my PC but I can't get the page to co-operate at the moment. Will keep trying.
  15. I haven't been able to open the 'Health Status' page of the Medallion app using the web version on my PC. I have now opened the app on my mobile. As CDaze said, the app has changed. Instead of a row of green ticks, I now have an enormous green square with 'Arrival Group A, a QR code, and 'Proceed to Green lane'. Of interest it then says 'Have your Medallion and passport visible upon arrival. That isn't possible because in Australia they don't send the medallions to our home. We have to pick it up at the port. Now I have to see if I can open the page on Health Status.
  16. I hopefully uploaded the medallion app again to see if anything had changed. It hadn't. However when I went into the 'Choose Your Medallion' page, it shows our order for black medallions and the lanyards. I really think it will all work out OK on the day.
  17. Which page are you showing in your post? Is this on the Medallion app?
  18. Is it possible your husband's condition could result in a medical emergency? If not, take your doctor's advice and have a good holiday.
  19. I don't think you can get a soda package. The only other swapping I have heard they will do is 'like for like' - one type of soft drink for another, or a similar swap on the alcohol. Maybe another idea would be to swap the alcohol you don't want for someone else's cans of softdrink. On the 26th June cruise I will put my hand up to swap with you if you would like. 🙂
  20. In my opinion, the main benefit to look for is the Commonwealth Senior's Health Care Card. It is available at pension age. However, you may already be eligible for the Low Income Earner's Health Care Card. This is assess in income and does not take assets into account. Both of these allow you to buy medicines at the same rate as pensioners (currently $6.80).
  21. What is the cost of Princess transfers from Manhattan to JFK? It doesn't show up on my Cruise Personalizer.
  22. At the top of most pages there will be two circles with your photos. Each photo will have a tiny circle of the appropriate colour - blue with 'B', or black with 'E'. I hope you and Colin both have the E.
  23. I might work out a battle plan ....😁 Maybe those of us who have the wrong status on our medallion can storm the barricades together.😉
  24. It isn't only the colour for the medallion that is displayed in the app, it also shows 'B' or 'E'. However, I think it is likely that it will all work OK. Maybe I am following my old trick that if I assume there will be a problem that requires a battle to fix, then everything will go smoothly.😁
  25. You can swap the mini bar for coffee cards. I think you have to contact room service to do this.
