  1. That is correct and has been reported by some here on cruises this month.
  2. Last year in February our BC flights that we originally booked on FBC for $3485pp dropped one day to $2368 and we called FBC and they changed us to the cheaper flights that were on a better itinerary too. So we are looking for another February miracle this year.
  3. Our flights are still showing in our cruise itinerary in management cruise.
  4. I just looked and your Apex May 7 cruise is the last Apex cruise for the summer with the Flights link. I looked on the May 14th cruise after yours and the flights link is gone:
  5. Our business class seats booked in November on FBC are about $4400pp, on Friday the same seats and itinerary was over $8000pp. Current Premium economy seats on some flights are more than our BC seats. The airlines are raising costs faster than Celebrity is.
  6. Yes our September Apex cruise was moved from Amsterdam to Rotterdam but both ports use the same airport in Amsterdam, Rotterdam is about 20 miles further from the airport than the city of Amsterdam so it shouldn't make any difference. On Friday I was able to see the flights and the itinerary change was announced back in December.
  7. On most airlines you can take the record locator number and book on the airlines websites. You can also request over the phone seats with FBC if you book by phone. The only airlines I have experience with not being able to get seats before payment is American Airlines and British Airlines, so I only book with them when nothing else is available or works.
  8. In 2021 the Celebrity Shuttle on Equinox from the cruise terminal to the airport was $16pp. My wife and I took an Ubber for under $25 including a tip. No more waiting or sitting on crowded shuttles for us.
  9. The problem is the prices are way up and so too are future bookings. The bean counters will see this and keep increasing prices when cruise bookings continue to rise. The new Celebrity marketing campaign should be "get less for more on Celebrity".
  10. I hope that is the case, but it has been like this for 2 days and only Apex May to Oct cruises in Europe seem to have the issue.
  11. And if the flight cost goes down with FBC you can rebook at the lower price, we have done this many times. You cannot do this by booking directly with any airlines I know of. Also FBC will take care of you if you miss your return flight home because of a delay of the ship or a medical reason.
  12. We are booked on the Apex in September from Amsterdam and have flights booked by FBC. I frequently check by doing mock bookings to see if our flights have gone down in price. Yesterday, Saturday and today the "Flights" link no longer shows on the Celebrity website for any Apex cruises this summer. This same thing happened to us in 2021 with our Infinity booking just prior to Celebrity canceling all the Infinity summer 2021 cruise. The other Celebrity ships in Europe this summer still have the flights search link, it seems only the Apex doesn't. This what I get when searching flight on Apex summer cruises, the flights links usually follows to the right of the "Shore Excursions" link.
  13. Last year they charged for the shuttle to the cruise port.
  14. Following, we will be on the Apex in September.
  15. That is also my understanding, along with many other changes this year, the Edge class ships no longer have traditional early and late dining, it is now all anytime or select. The confusion is from people who booked before the changes and elected to book traditional early or late dining, but now when boarding they find out all is now select.
  16. I spent 4 years traveling to that country once a month for business and you just cured me from cruising with Atlas. Thank you.
  17. My Equinox app shows MDR on day 5 "Seafood and Lobster Pappardelle" as the only menu item with lobster in the ingredients. Have no idea what this is. In Luminae day 3 there is a Lobster salad listed as a starter and that is the only lobster all week. Day 6 in Luminae there is a Surf and Turf of "Sea scallops and Pork Belly."
  18. We only book Sky Suites with Celebrity for the more premium experience. However future Sky Suites pricing has gone to the ridiculous. Our Edge New Zealand cruise in January 2024 is now, even with the current sale, $2000pp higher than when we booked in February 2022. After 2024 we are looking at Oceania for our premium cruises, including one already booked for South America.
  19. I know the Celebrity app is wrong more than its right, but it does not show any lobster tails in MDR or Luminae for our June Equinox cruise.
  20. One more example of the almost worthless Celebrity app having incorrect information. Check in has been 45 days or less out for a long time and then only after final payment is completed.
  21. My understanding is that all suites are exempt from the new Room Serice charges and rules.
  22. Not true, Sky Suites can order dinner from the MDR for in suite dining, we have done it many times.
  23. I wonder if O will charge for the new internet or like other lines have done make it included in the cruise fare? On Celebrity we get free premium Wi-Fi when we book suites. Celebrity is also upgrading their fleet to Starlink this year.
  24. Noro Virus has been on most ships since Covid restarts, but it was not talked about with all the Covid cases. The people in the Celebrity Reflection Sky Suite next to us got it last August and spent 2 days in quarantine with all the Covid patients in Covid cabins. We thought they had Covid when they were led away by ship's staff but the notice on their door said they were quarantined for gastrointestinal reasons. They returned in 2 days and then 3 days later they did come down with Covid.
