  1. In particular I would like to the price of:

    1. Americano
    2. Latte
    3. Hot chocolate
    4. Bottled water for trips
    5. Soda from fountain
    6. Mocktails (non-alcoholic)
    7. Frozen drinks
    8. Fresh orange juice

I'm trying to work out whether the Royal Replenish package is worth it and whether I would be able to get drinks at Labadee if it is only "fountain soda" but at the same time the information says entire stock of non-alcoholic beverages (which you would think would include can and diet drinks / sugar free drinks)

"Save on our entire stock of non-alcoholic beverages. The Royal Replenish Package lets you pay one set price* to enjoy a wide variety of beverages.

This all-inclusive package includes our full selection of premium coffee, premium tea, and bottled water, including sparkling and still.

But that's not all. You can also choose fresh squeezed orange juice, non-alcoholic cocktails, and any fountain soda, which includes a Coca Cola® souvenir cup. Bottoms up!

Price shown is per person, per day."

  2. Are you set on the railway portion of the tour? We did a great bus tour with Grey's Island Excursions in 2012, and as a family of five it was very good value for money.:D

Thank you so much for your recommendation. I have ditched the idea of the train in preference of Grey's Island Excursions who have already emailed me back with details. :)

Thank you robtulipe for trying to find the $ price for the railway.

No not necessarily. Just researching. I've emailed Paradise Tours which has some great reviews on Trip advisor but will certainly consider Grey's Island Excursion too if Paradise is unavailable. Thank you for the recommendation. :)

  4. There is also another one with just the railway right at the bottom of the excursion list. The one with the sail is too pricey for us.

    Duration: 3 hours

All aboard the West Indies' last railway for a scenic sightseeing tour unique in the Caribbean. 5. In my opinion, the pre-booking system is simple to use and very user-friendly. If you are a planner, booking dining and shows isn't much work at all-it takes the stress out of worrying about lines when on-board. To me, it's all booked (very simply) and the rest is all relaxing and enjoying the fruits of a few minutes of on-line labor.

We too have pre-booked all our dining. Do they provide you with a reminder of what you have booked once on board? Is there a card in the cabin to take down to dinner?

Also I can't pre-book shows yet (sailing in March). I'm hoping that we can prebook the shows as it saves the hassle of having to arrive extra early to guarantee a seat. Do you prebook a seat number or just the amount of people in your party?

  6. Could someone tell me how much the St Kitts scenic railway trip is in dollars please? The trip would cost us £226 for the family and I'm wondering whether it would be cheaper to wait and book on board? We are 3 adults (13 is adult!) and one child.

Of course my supplementary question is whether the tour is likely to sell out?

    many thanks

  7. If not in a suite, try Columbus or Nellies.

Clean, close to restrooms, nice beach, and BBQ nearby.

You can walk the 10 ish min. or take the tram.

    Enjoy.

    Is the tram free?

I take it the lounge chairs are free?

Who are the chair attendants? Bar staff? Locals? Just curious due to all the talk of tipping them as the drinks' prices have added service already.

  8. This is certainly our first cruise with Celebrity so I don't know the history regarding late bookings. But speaking with others while in the Caribbean in the past they got fantastic late deals. That was on the likes of the P&O Ventura though so maybe not a great comparison.

But yes the flight are an issue, we booked ours with BA around last November and got a decent deal deal given it involved a transfer down to Heathrow. We're on one of the new BA super jumbo's which I think they are just having delivered around now.

It is true that with P&O and Princess the prices start high and plummet near sailing time going up again about a month before sailing. We booked a couple of bonus cruises this year as the offers were too good to be true (Emily's child place was only £149 on British Isles cruise on Royal Princess)

However on Celebrity I think booking early is the key. We normally book a year in advance and have been astonished just how much money we have saved compared with our fellow passengers.

  9. Here is a link to the website where you can choose your own flights. It is Europe and Worldwide.

It was cheaper than TAs believe me, mine even phoned Celebrity who initially couldn't find such a low price either!!

We have a 2B balcony for four people including flights from Heathrow to Rome, transfers, Classic drinks package and tips for £5456 for 10 nights on Celebrity Reflection sailing Italy, Greece and Turkey on 29th July 2016.

    Whoop whoop!! :):):)

  10. I'm looking for a hotel at the airport so we can leave our cases in the cheapest room and then explore New York for the rest of the day. We either need a hotel at the airport or one close with a regular free shuttle. We are 6 people so it will probably be cheaper to have one room rather than going to a left luggage place.

    many thanks

  11. Right... iced coffee is considered specialty coffee... However, I have never ordered iced coffee in the dining room. I know that they serve it at the pastry shop, but not sure if they serve it in the dining rooms... I will defer to an iced coffee drinker to clarify :)

Also... if you have never had a Virgin Triple Berry Lava Flow or Mango Lava Flow, you have not lived... LOL! I love mango, so the Frozen Mango Tango ranks very high on my drink list as well!

    What is a lava flow?

  12. Celebrity are offering 2nd passenger goes half price and free drinks package. Superb deal and by going on the Celebrity website the deal works out even cheaper than with TAs because of the choice of flights on offer. We managed to prepay our tips and still get a cheaper deal than our regular TA.

Absolutely delighted and with tips and drinks sorted the lack of OBC doesn't matter at all. :):):):)

  13. This is just a list I have compiled from several posts. I am sure there are PLENTY more

    Virgin drinks

Make sure to tell the bartender you want a virgin drink

    Pina Coladas

    Peach Pina Coladas

Mojitos (also ask for it frozen)

    Strawberry Daquiries

    Mango Daquiries

    Papaya Passion

Mango Tango (1/2 Pina Colada, 1/2 mango daq)

Love Connection (1/3 Pina, 1/3 Mango daq, 1/3 straw daq)

    Lava Flow

Miami Vice (1/2 pina colada-1/2 strawberry daq)

Pineapple Blast (pineapple soda with red bull)

    Mudslide

Flavored Lemonades (also ask for it frozen)

    Rosewater Lemonade

Arnold Palmer (1/2 iced tea, 1/2 lemonade)-may be avail frozen...

*also ask the bartender suggest or surprise you with something virgin...

Virgin mudslide now you are talking! Are Iced coffees also included?

  14. I have several questions! :o My knowledge of Royal Caribbean is very out of date so I am going on the assumption I need to find out information again so it is going to be a busy time! I haven't bought a drinks package on Royal before but am considering it on this cruise.

I'm not expecting all the answers at once but and if there is anything else I haven't thought of please chip in. :)

How much is this package in dollars? I'm trying to work out whether it would be cheaper to pre-book in £ or wait until we board.

Is it a sticker or do they swipe your card?

We are going on Anthem, does anyone know where the coffee shop is? Can you get coffees from the bars too?

Does the water included mean the small bottles or the large bottles?

What are the best mocktails on Royal Caribbean?

Anyone bought this package and regretted it?

Can you buy drinks in the theatre?

Are diet drinks like diet sprite included? (As it says fountain drinks)

    many thanks Cruise critic friends.

    Jo :)

  15. Thank you for all the advice. Rob is type 2, so takes tablets, and the major change he has made is not drinking orange juice any more (he used to drink it by the bucket!) and Canderel instead of sugar and has no sugar drinks. He no longer orders desserts opting for cheese instead but did enjoy the diabetic desserts prepared for him on P&O and diabetic cakes at afternoon tea.

Interesting comments about alcohol as his nutritionist didn't mention it (which I was surprised about too). We are not big drinkers but do enjoy a glass of wine most days.

Great news about the International Cafe having diabetic options. We love it as a venue and I'm really chuffed that he will still be able to enjoy some delights.

  16. Am I right in thinking that any cabin grade can have bathrobes if requested but they are only automatically provided in mini-suites and above?

We have a balcony cabin on both cruises in August and I do like to have a bathrobe for the balcony. ;)
