  1. Have you ever watched the Travel channel about cruising. They state that the ships have to sail full to cover the cost of operating that particular cruise. They make their profits from the casino, bars, shops, excursions, and anything else they can charge you for.

     

     

     

    As another poster mentioned, full capacity and all cabins booked are two different things. A cabin may accommodate four but only has two in it. The ship would sail full but not to full capacity.

     

     

     

    Good thing the cruise line makes money from the casino , bars, shops , excursions, and anything else so they can sail at less then capacity
