My family and I will be cruising on the Norwegian Escape on 9/3. I am looking for beach recommendations for Nassau. Does anyone have some insight into which beaches are good, which to avoid, ease of getting there from the cruise pier. Any info is welcome. Thanks in advance!

What did you end up picking????and how was it

We've been to Cozumel over 10 times on ships and have done something different each time. The ONLY repeat tour has been Cozumel Bar Hop Bus. Soooo much fun, and if you are going without kids, this may be a great opportunity. It's a tour that takes you to the "wild" side of the island where there are a few really fun beach bars, gorgeous views, few people and beautiful blue water. It was so much fun the first two times, I think we would do it again!

 

We've been to Nachi, cat snorkeling, mini-subs, dune buggies, Chankanaab, sailing, etc. For an adults only day away from the crowds.....Bar Hop Bus is the way to go!

Is this thru the cruiseline or independent?

Guess not many people have sailed this ship with other Carnival ships

I have sailed Conquest and Valor (post dry dock)? How does Triumph compare? Hopefully some expert carnival sailor can kinda give me a ranking. After starting cruising I do not want a dumpy ship but just kinda want to know what flaws the ship has.

Of course the legacy here is this was the ship several years ago that got stuck in the gulf

Even If they are allowed-PLEASE be considerate of others and do not block aisles, walkway etc taking pictures. It can be very dangerous and just plan rude - IMHO!

Unlike the ship photographers that block the aisle :)

I booked it 90 days out for my 9/24 sailing

The most recent menu changed the filet and shrimp choice to filet and lobster. I am the daughter of a lobster fisherman. I only eat lobster I have seen alive. (Just a personal choice). I was planning to ask for shrimp instead anyway. By the time I sail in November they may only have chicken! SO many changes...

Do you bring a live one with you on board?

I call everyday asking for an upgrade from my interior room, sometimes twice :)

It stinks when they extend a promotion. Lazy marketing. Pressure people to purchase cause the deal is ending and then extend it 31 days. Just my 2 cents.

Anyone been here recently? Feedback on Tripadvisor seems to be from resort guests only

They may be looking to give transfer credits for premium members of other cruise lines to get them to return to CCL
