I booked through NCL.

 

In St. Thomas I booked a 5 hour tour that includes Megans Bay, Blackbeard Castle and Shopping. I noticed the price wasn't that different from viator.

 

In Tortola I booked Radical Rides Adventure - 3 hour pilot your own mini boat and snorkeling. Reviews look great!

 

In Nassau I'm debating just staying on the boat. My friend just came back from Atlantis and said it has just gone totally downhill and the $177 for 1/2 day at water park is not worth it - it is the same price as full day.

 

Another option I'm considering for Nassau is Breezes resort for a day http://www.resortforaday.com/Nassau-Day-Pass-s/1826.htm as I heard their beach is quite nice and day pass includes drinks.

How was Radical Rides Adventure?

I think they may make it free again after Labor Day and the summer season is over.

They should get rid of a few of the photographers and add back a few servers!

No food on the Valor's RFP, was a disappointing location rarely populated.

I think two pool cabanas will suffice as a central meeting place. Most will be in the pool by the bar anyhow

From most of the reviews I have read, Margaritaville is pretty quiet;)

Wanted to give my opinion on the Valor after dry dock. This is still my least favorite ship. Our room steward was awful! Cabins 8276 & 8278 Just got back on Saturday. Great cruise but I'm still not a fan of the ship. The food in the main dining room was still excellent the 80's show was awesome and we love the Alchemy bar, Blue Iguana and Guys burger. The fish and chip place is still there and the fish was pretty good. Maybe if our room steward wasn't so bad and the cruise director was more fun I still wouldn't feel the same. Matt and Jaime are still the best CD's in the fleet, in my opinion.

We had a good time and nothing was horrible, but we will probably stick with RCI for future cruises unless there is at least a $ 200/ pp difference in the price on the same itinerary.

This a great point cause value is important to some cruisers and to others they want the Titanic experience (without the iceberg ;) ), and some in between.

One tip , next cruise make sure you talk to the put boss and casino manager often. Tends to make sure you get rated fairly and are a serious gambler.
