  1. Sometimes it is a pricing glitch. I picked up a GS on Navigator for 2025 when it first came out. A GS was cheaper than an inside. Deal of the century 😀
  2. You cannot use the Royal card on Celebrity cruises I have used a card for the last 10+ years. I can tell youi that there is no list of which ship use one punch and which uses two. It all depends on the crew. I have had some crew members use one punch for a large and some use two punches all in the same day. I honestly believe that if they kjnow you and you leave them a tip, they start using one punch on larges. I have never seen cards deviate from the $31.00 price in the last few years. My card has always been in my cabin when I boarded.
  3. The day before you can call the same number for making dinner reservations, any of the restaurants can make that reservation for you.
  4. Actually there is an option - Grand suites and above are escorted off the ship and past the lines. It will just cost a bit more than $100 pp.
  5. Following along ~ have a wonderful time! I will be leaving a little fur baby at home in a few weeks also. I have had a stray cat, who still insists on living outdoors, adopt me a few years ago and he has become very attached to me. Luckily I have fantastic neighbors who feed him and give him a lot of f attention while I am away.
  6. Thanks for the review. Anthem looks like a great ship. I will find out for myself next month ☺️
  7. Of course! Did you not see the article recently about the high school freshman having trouble finding shoes as he wore a size 23? When we sold on Ebay we had a customer come back at us with 12 of the most off the wall questions about nothing and everything. Being a tad sarcastic, it took me no time to answer all of their questions. We both had a big laugh over it and are still "email" friends years later. 😊
  8. I will be on Anthem for the first time next month, looking forward to seeing a Quantum class ship. Thanks for the review!
  9. I saw that and booked a GS solo for $2300. The solo cost for the owners suite was $3100 and $6300 for the Royal suite.
  10. portside punch or a chocolate martini
  11. I booked a monkey and sloth day through the Daniel Johnson site direct with them last year and had a great time. It's always an option if you do not see what you want in the cruise planner.
  12. I was able to grab a great deal last year also. I booked a jr suite as a solo for an 8 night in April 2024 for just over $2000. looked yesterday and it now going for $4900.
  13. I get muster out of the way as soon as I board. I head up to the pool or solarium for a drink and then have lunch at one of the specialty restaurants to avoid the craziness of the Windjammer. When lunch is over the cabins are usually open so off to check out my accommodations and unpack as I usually keep my luggage with me as I board. Since I usually only travel with a carryon and a backpack it's easy to haul them around with me. Once unpacked I open the bottle of wine and sit out on the balcony for a bit before going to explore the ship. Sail away is either at the pool deck or sitting on my balcony depending on my mood.
  14. I am working my way through the Oasis class. I was not a fan of the mega ships in the beginning, now I prefer them. Symphony is my favorite....so far!
  15. Anthem in April out of Bayonne. The ports are nothing to talk about but this time it is for the ship. I have never been on a Quantum class ship. Looking forward to something different.
  16. Sailing on Anthem in April and I was able to pick up the beach club for $88.99, reg $169, during a black Friday sale. I would never have paid full price, but this made it worth a try.
  17. Have a wonderful cruise. Explorer has always been one of my favorite ships!
