I always download movies or series on my IPad before I leave home. That way, if I want to watch something, I have it.

They mentioned a lot of sea days, so I’m thinking more to Hawaii and possibly on to Australia. Just a guess.

It was available a day or 2 ago for $350, but it’s gone again. I would check your planner everyday, since some cruisers may be cancelling that have it. I got the 5 night package, back in March for $139.

I wasn’t sure if this was the case for Royal. I have cruised Carnival from Barcelona and was able to bring alcohol on in every port, but wasn’t sure if there were duty free stores at other berths, or Royal may use the same one.

I am leaving from Barcelona next month and the wording for Spain is a bit confusing. I have not had a booster, but thought Spain was still under the 270 rule, and I will need to get a booster before I can enter country. I already know I have to take a proctored test to get on ship.

Same with me, plus theater and sporting events. I haven’t even gotten a booster yet. But I have to by next month to go to Spain. 🙄 The way I see it is if some feel better masking up, then they aren’t hurting anyone. I will continue to live my life as I always have. I prefer to get some germs. Helps with my immunity.

Good info here. I normally travel solo, and never eat in the MDR, but going with family in Dec., and will make a point of seeing where our table is when we board. Anything I can do to alleviate more work for the short staffed ship, I will gladly do. Right to the table it will be for me.

As long as it takes you to walk to nearest bar, once you step on ship. Show your boarding pass until you get your sea pass cards at cabin.

Expand to other countries and continents. If Fall of 2023, either a TA or a TP. Both are amazing. Have done several of both and have a TA planned in Oct. and a TP planned in April. Do you have the time, or are limited on days?

I get confused because everybody always says boarding time. It’s check in time, right? Boarding could start at anytime, depending on what might or might not happen on the ship. I have been in a couple of situations when boarding didn’t actually begin until 2pm, because of inspections.

Depends on where you are sailing from. I am sailing from Barcelona and the 270 rule is in effect for a booster. If you are sailing from US, no boosters required. You can find this info on the Royal website.

You pay for it when you purchase it online.

Let’s not get into the discussion about whether or not to get your kid vaxxed. It is nobody’s business what people decide for their own child. The issue is, Royal changed this protocol AFTER final payment.

Yes, I am on Wonder TA out of Barcelona. The cruise line only recommends booster, but Spain requires it since I am over the 270 days. Of course, Royal does not mention that. I have to go directly to a Spain website for their requirements.

So you don’t need to have your last shot within 270 days to enter Italy? I’m leaving from Barcelona and will need to get a booster to enter Spain, since I’m 270 days over my last vax. I’m not boosted either, but if I need it to enter Spain, I’m waiting for new one to come out.

All at once. Once you log on the first time, it counts 24hrs from then.

I’m seriously wondering if this was a typo or mistake. We have already made final payment, and many on this sailing have kids. I don’t have any, but I would be livid that it changed 2 months before sailing. I would bet Royal is getting a lot of phone calls right now. There are also other TA’s besides Wonder.

First, S&S and Surf will always be more expensive on board. There have been threads recently figuring out cost savings if D or D+. You will get one 24 period free, being Diamond. Since your days you need internet will then be 5, count on the ship price being at least $5-7 more per day than pre cruise price. Since you won’t be able to have any access in port, unless you find a wifi spot, do the math. I think the pre cruise price will save you money, but not a lot.
