  1. It was interesting that my cruises on the Ovation in 2021 and 2022 (Alaska), the kettles were kept in the cabin. This past Spring, they started removing them when we got to Hawaii. My stewardess left mine, since I was on for 2 more legs. I liked being able to make a quick cup of Instant coffee on the mornings I was awake at 4-5.
  2. I would imagine some are getting it to take home, or they have run out of their fave 😉🤣.
  3. Are they allowing you to bring wine back onto the ship from ports and not holding it? I saw a clip on YouTube, made today, and she brought back a bottle of wine. It was also very cheap.
  4. Best deal is 1 person, 4 devices. Everyone shares a login, but 4 devices can be logged on at the same time.
  5. Nevermind….I don’t why I read Apr, I saw of Aug….jeez, my eyes. August dates not released yet. Watch the Deployment thread.
  6. Probably because you all showed the same address, and 20 yrs ago, IT was clueless, which hasn’t changed to this day.
  7. I look just like my pic and a couple of people from long cruises have come up and introduced themselves. I don’t mind. I’m a solo traveler, and pretty much a loner, so a polite nice to meet you doesn’t bother me. I’ve met several CC posters ( I don’t do FB). It’s just nice to put a name to a face. That’s it.
  8. When I first glanced at plate of meat (5am, before coffee), I thought that was each individual’s plate. I thought, WTH. Who could eat all that? LOL Then I saw each individual’s plate.
  9. It really comes down to the bartender. I got good ones in Schooner Bar and Wonderland (you don’t have to be eating there). Try a few places.
  10. They don’t even share when linked. I was in the same cabin with my daughter and granddaughter, and we were linked. But you can share your vouchers.
  11. Those are Boardwalk cabins. Totally different than Central Park cabins that OP was asking about. I would never choose one of those either.
  12. OP, are you asking about the CP cabins they list under interiors? If so, I stayed in one on the Wonder. I could faintly hear the music at night, which was very pleasant. There was no other noise, and I thought it was very quiet. I really enjoyed the window seat.
  13. You don’t….first come, first seated
  14. Some people just shouldn’t drink..LOL Hopefully she gets off the ship in BA.
  15. Since your cruise is August, normally the shows can be reserved at the beginning of the month prior to your cruise. Start looking around July 1, give or take a few days before or after. You can book via the app or website.
  16. I wish there were more posters like you on Cruise Critic. It seems like most threads anymore, people just want to complain. It’s become the Grumpasaurus Rex Club.
  17. I guess they did try to replenish in Rio, but no luck. I do like the Kim Crawford SB when I have wine. I did a wine tasting in NZ in April, and their wines are so good…OK, I do drink wine sometimes, but prefer my Dirty Gin Martini…😉
  18. I just saw one of the vloggers do a short clip on YouTube, that they are running out of some of the wines. They mentioned Oberon Red, and they have already gone through 3 pallets. I’m not a wine drinker, but that must be a popular wine.
  19. Only Oasis and Quantum class need reservations at this time. I’m guessing Icon will also.
  20. Thanks to your input, my TA was able to get it applied to Anthem Apr/2025 TP. She did have to call and get someone to approve and manually input.
  21. I had the PB&J Old Fashion in Mason Jar. I really like the PB whiskey just to sip plain. Fun Fact…I’m originally from San Diego, and one of the beach towns where I lived (one of the many places in my 20’s), Ocean Beach, is where it originated. https://theresandiego.com/skrewball-whiskey-story/
  22. The next cruise passengers want to embark, so they usually want you off by about 9:30.
