After all the fruit cake talk, I googled Collin street bakery. OMG they also make the fruitcake petite bites which will be perfect for me! 😁

We have done this excursion 3 times via Royal Caribbean. Excellent. No big issues. The first two times the catamaran was big, spacious, lots of shade. The last time it was a smaller catamaran but no problems. The sail was pretty smooth and not very bumpy. I did not see any seasickness, but I was not particulary looking. The only thing bumpy I would say is the climb down the ladder to the bottom deck where the two bathrooms were located, in the third catamaran. The first two catamarans had few steps down and were fine. Could you be thinking of the St John ride from St Thomas, that is quite rough?

I checked our Celebrity sailings for BF sales....zilch in cruise planner. Sailings are 75% off second person, but with cruise prices raised from $200 up on our sailings. So "fake" sale 😝.🤣 .We have a couple cruises where we did not do AI. I called to get a quote wifi and Zero Proof with Elite+ discount and got a better rate, so booked that on one. Perhaps the CP things will go on sale later, so will keep checking. I am looking for dining pkgs on Beyond since I am interested in eating at a couple restaurants there.

Which sailing? We are on the Wonder Aug 25 and that has $148 for Coco Beach Club. When checked yesterday.

I noticed that too. But the lunch price is good. We are not big on specialty lunch, but did get one at Jamie's and a brunch at Mason's Jar, different ships.

We owe you a drink when we meet.🥰 Internet prices for all our sailings are still higher, except for one sailing next Oct that has $15.99 per day, but Key was $18 for that sailing a few days back and we purchased the Key. So keeping the Key.

Where are your "before" and "after" cruises this christmas?

The best fruitcake I have ever had is the Black Rum Fruit cake from Bermuda. They only make this after summer but will make a special order. When we went there I used to place an order via email with them and they they kept it packed and ready for me to pick up when we docked. They have also shipped it to me many times in the US. It costs an arm and a leg and is very small. Shipping is also a lot of $$$$$. I ordered it last year. I think I will not have it shipped anymore, but only get it when I cruise there, since it is getting to be ridiculously expensive. I am all for trying out this one from Texas. Thanks for this suggestion Dani and Aussie.

Correct. I am aware of one ship one terminal. Sorry, I made a mistake reading that EQ was there the same day. However, when we get back after our Nov 20 cruise (on Nov 30), two X ships (Equinox and Silhouette) are in port, so was wondering which ship docks at which terminal. Sorry for any confusion.

What terminal are you boarding from, since the Equinox is also there? Do you know if you will be disembarking from the same terminal? Looking forward to reading about your trip. We board on the 11/20. Same itinerary.

Beautiful ship. I love Princess cruises. The CnA perks are better on Royal, but the new Princess ships are great. My newest Princess is the Enchanted. Enjoy your cruise! Thanks for the great pictures.

Last time we went was before the pandemic. Not the same as it used to be. Weather was crappy two or three visits. Terrible crowds. You didn't have to walk......you were just moved. Total chaos. I wanted to go back as soon as I stepped out of Penn Station. We also used to drive sometime and were not able to make it in during the holiday season......traffic and weather combined. It used to be so magical. But not anymore.

Deck 3 is not the same layout on all Edge class ships. Check the deck plans before you book a particular cabin. For example 3182 is excellent location on the Edge, but not on the Beyond, where it is under the Magic carpet and right where it slides down.

Have a wonderful cruise! We did the 16 night RT Hawaii on the Ruby Princess from LA some years ago. Absolutely loved that cruise. Would have loved to do it again but never got an opportunity.
