  1. I was checking the prestige beverage package a few weeks ago and saw that if I purchase it before boarding it would be $59.95 a day. Just went to my account today and it is $69.95 a day with no mention of the $59.95. I also searched on the site under Beverages packages and nada about the buy before boarding offer.
  2. I guess that is what happened to us in Dec. I thought maybe it had to do with some construction. Thanks for the info.
  3. That's probably why they call you EasyGoingGuy😁 What A Market is on Riviera and said it 30 mins.
  4. Love the pics and very happy that you are doing Live. Nice break from our cold and mostly sunless weather up here in Canada
  5. Here is an example of why Oceania does allow you to bring heated rollers on board- which I have done on 20 cruises with no issues. I shipped my bag to my cruise last year. I got an email that it had arrived at the ship. When I boarded, I waited for my bag to arrive in my cabin. As we were getting close to leaving, I started getting worried and asking where it was. Finally someone said it was in the receiving area(aka naughty room). I went down to that area and the person there thought I might have a heating blanket in my luggage- strangely, they hadn't opened it to check. The person who xrayed it had slapped a sticker saying heating blanket. I said it was my heating rollers and opened the bag to show them and they said no problem and gave me the bag with my rollers.
  6. Thank you. It's loyalty obc and some O credit because they changed departure port. Looking at the new price list and thinking maybe I will drink enough to justify it.😃 Only did it once before and didn't drink enough to justify the cost.
  7. I'm booked Cruise Only. If I go online and pre purchase the Premium Package, will they use my on board credit to pay for it?
  8. Did this ship excursion in December 2022. So much interest that O had 2 catamarans. We had 62 people on our catamaran that would probably have been okay with 35-40 people. I think they counted on people sitting on the netted part up front- think crochet nets. Needless to say, very few tried it out. Access to bathroom was a vertical ladder. I should have taken a picture- unbelievable. Princess Margaret Beach was okay with some shade. They had the beach bbq there and ran out of fish, coleslaw, vegetables, then ran out of cutlery and plates. We had a stop in Port Elizabeth which didn't have much charm. I looked for a private excursion but couldn't find any.
  9. For this view, I have no problem with occasional vibration.
  10. If any of you are on my May 20th Vista cruise you can give it to me.😊 The name Cyclo is a bit off- putting but it is drinkable.
  11. And I'm a fan of Midsomer Murders. I'll bring you A&W if I ever get to Midsomer😊
  12. I order A&W root beer on almost every cruise and except for one time, I have always received it. You do need to order it because it is not something they carry regularly.
  13. There is no gratuity on top of the $300 charge. You can leave a tip at your discretion. Besides Polo and Toscana you can choose between these 2 menus. We had the Degustation menu which was lovely. I did ask and was allowed to drop the dessert and replace it with the Polo Quintet dessert Privee Menus.pdf
  14. Thank you for your review. I just contacted them to book the tour in May when we get to Kotor.
  15. I was looking at one of the itineraries on that list and it appears the pricing listed includes Air and Olife I wonder if you have to take that to get the "up to 800 SBC" or can you get it by taking the "cruise only fare"?
  16. The fact that the cruises that were canceled because of the Marina refit( Oct 11 to Nov13) are all back on the site with availability in almost every category would suggest that they got the right information.

  18. That's very interesting. I didn't think they would allow you to book a higher category than what O says is your average. My average will be a PH but I don't think I can book a higher category and get the credit for the ph value. Thank you Orv. That's too funny about your Trivia team name and how you met.
  19. @ORV I have my 20th coming up soon and I did what you and Flatbushflyer said about booking it in advance and ask to covert it after 19th cruise. I see FF said I do get my loyalty OBC but I'm wondering what the government fees and taxes will amount to. Mine is a 12 day European cruise and if I remember yours was a 14 day European cruise. Can you or anyone who has had their 20th give me a ballpark amount?
  20. According to her post, she changed the expiry date of her passport and said the online check in took. I take that to mean she was able to complete her check in with the incorrect expiry date. I'm not mocking her, I'm only pointing out what she said.
  21. You haven't said where your disembarkation port is?
  22. @Port Royal Pretty sure it was Tamarind, Colony Club and Discovery Bay back then. I guess I'm looking for a walk down memory lane. I loved Barbados. Thanks for all your help on this Board.
  23. Thank you. I've been on Silver Moon 3 times and Carlisle Beach the last time in Barbados so wanted to do something a bit different. Used to do land trips to Barbados back in the late sixties and early 70's. Will check out Coral Reef. Did it have a different name before? There were 3 hotels on the west coast that were connected and you could be at one and dine at all 3.
  24. Carlisle is a gorgeous beach but does tend to get pretty crowded. I would love to go to a hotel beach where I could use the pool and have a beach lounger and I would buy lunch there. Any suggestions?
