  1. Yes. I guess they thought my account had been hacked and have provided monitoring from ProtectMyId for at least a year. I believe it was given by HAL but have never cruised with them.. We have had our "accounts" locked down for years with all of the credit reporting companies and get immediate e-mails for anything charged to any of our charge cards. We try to stay vigilant but there is always someone out there looking to take what is not theirs...
  2. None on Enchanted in December and none given on current Majestic cruise in NZ although I thought I'd read on earlier roll calls for this same cruise that people had received them...

I know it's a 3rd party company so don't blame Princess for that hiccup but Princess missed the mark after we boarded (knowing in advance that they would not be fully booked) and asked them to contact us to upgrade (at the going rate) for the 2nd leg of the B2B. Never heard from them. We liked our cabin and weren't disappointed staying where we were but would have loved a mini instead of a deluxe balcony...
  4. We are currently in NZ on the Majestic. This is what was left in our stateroom. We asked the room steward to make the change and he agreed to do it the next day which was fine. Booze for booze.
  5. @Leebernie Curious what the issue was that you were discussing. Was it something CS could handle or was it something like excursions, EZAir, etc. We keep having excursions canceled (two cruises in the last 2 months) and called CS who couldn't explain why it happened. Not under their purview. They could only verify that a refund would be forthcoming and that emails were sent out. Unfortunately, they went to our TA who didn't forward until a week later after we had already spoken to Princess CS.
  6. We were also on Enchanted until the end of December. The 1st 10 days were ok but thought things were much better for the last 10 days with the exception of the evenings when everyone was in the Princess Theater waiting for a show to start when everyone in the room was on their phones...Dropped dramatically or so it seemed..
  7. We agree that the production shows were excellent and my favorite was Spotlight Bar so we saw it twice on our B2B. They have started doing a "Behind the Scenes" tour of the production area which we also enjoyed. Happy cruising.

  9. Yes, we did. However, we do often get updates from our TA's company regarding flight changes and when we had a move-over offer. When we spoke to a Princess rep this morning, she clearly indicated that the e-mail was sent to mu e-address and confirmed it with me. That being said, she was unable to forward the e-mail to me? The last cruise was for a tour in Puerto Rico that didn't matter much but this one is in New Zealand was something we were really looking forward to as one of the reasons we want to tour is to visit the Hobbiton movie sets. I can understand that some people may not be interested but we are huge fans. Also, looking forward, extremely concerned for our Greenland cruise this summer as we were forced to book two Princess excursions in those TINY towns where Princess buys up all of the excursions in town. Trust me, I've tried to book with the vendors there and they said that their hands were tied by Princess. When you book some of the more expensive cruises for a once-in-a lifetime visit; I find this more than a bit distressing.
  10. @WoodstockGirl We are currently on the phone with Princess after they dropped yet another excursion. They supposedly sent me an email for the latest cancelation on January 8th but it was never received. We've checked our spam/junk folders but there is nothing there. Interestingly, I ALWAYS get the actual reservation. Two cruises in a row. Way to go Princess.
  11. I was shocked to see that Enchanted is leaving here in early March this year for a TA. Prime sailing season here. What the heck?? March??
  12. No. Carry on. We always do as we drink the caffeine free DC as Coke Zero is impossible to find even here in Florida.
  13. We took a 12 pack of CF Diet Coke and a 4 pack of cranberry juice on board the Enchanted in December. Cans only!
  14. There have been several posts (including mine) regarding this issue. We were booked and had paid for (with OBC) an excursion in Puerto Rico while sailing on Enchanted that simply disappeared from our booking. Check to see if Princess is still offering that excursion as ours simply disappeared from their list of excursions online. You are not alone. Several of us were not notified.

  16. My husband had the same exact problem and spent hours on the phone waiting to speak to someone to get it straightened out. He inadvertently checked a box that he was an AU citizen and had to start over. Thankfully, we had plenty of time!
  17. I've been following the current and recent cruise roll calls for information as some people are posting while cruising. Quite helpful. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2830789-january-3-2023-13-day-new-zealand/ I will try to keep an eye on our roll call for January 29th if anyone has questions but it sounds like things are going well on the current cruise.
  18. Agree. We did last month on Enchanted although it was not required and few people (including crew were masked). I had read that the laundry had reopened on Majestic and was thinking that was tied to the whole mask wearing requirement but must not be the case. We fully intended to wear masks but wanted other to be aware of the requirement which was not indicated for our cruise online until now.

Replacement masks will be available on board if needed.

  21. 1 B2B - Enchanted - Caribbean - 3 weeks of December Feel like slackers and hope to do better!!
  22. January 29th - Majestic - 13 day New Zealand/Australia w/4 nts prior in Auckland/3 nts after in Sydney August 14th - Caribbean - 16 day Greenland/Canada - jumping of in New Foundland to travel with friends to Labrador for a few weeks.
  23. Bummer. Just tossed all of ours out from 12/9-12/29. Production shows were great (IMHO) and think you should definitely work them into your schedule.
