  1. We've been on the Royal 3 times over the years and get a balcony/deluxe balcony on Riviera all the way aft. We typically stay all the way aft as we don't like all of the foot traffic mid-ships (just our personal preference). Always staterooms above and below. We've done a total of 6 cruises on the Royal class and have enjoyed it and look forward to the Enchanted in December!
  2. We did as well in May while in Aruba. https://www.emed.com
  3. We were able to do it easily from a condo in Aruba back in May. Can't imagine that you can't do the same from a hotel in Canada...
  4. Was a bit miffed. Mid-day, full sun, toasty warm. Not to mention the "stink-eye" that I was getting from the other pax at the front of the co-mingled line as I walked forward to check things out....
  5. We've been to Halifax several times and have enjoyed driving around the area to Peggy's Cove, Lunenburg and driving along the waterfront areas. The last time we also went to the Citadel and enjoyed touring it.
  6. It's varied in FLL. I've had situations where the previous cruise was late in getting departing passengers off of the ship and they did not recognize Elite/Platinum but had everyone line up as they arrived. I did go to the head of the line to ask but was rebuffed and sent to the end of the line.🥴
  7. Been on and off the website multiple times in the last two days with no issue. Maybe clear out your cache; reboot and try again. Can't imagine what the problem could be..
  8. Never heard of that one. Have 17 cruises with them and that never happened to us. I also check my statement before getting off the ship so I can address it "on site". I would put it in dispute if the charges have indeed been processed (twice)...
  9. They used to do that and don't remember if they do now or not. Last cruise was at Thanksgiving and did find it ~ maybe we got an invite but elite by now.
  10. Enjoy. We did a two week safari and I bought travel guides to find the right company and tips and what to wear. Definitely neutral colors of the land ~ muted browns and greens ~ and a hat to keep the sun off of your face. Plenty of bug spray! We spent a week each in Kenya and Tanzania in June and the advice to stay away from black/blue colors had to do with not attracting tsetse flies. We were in our own private 4 x 4 with driver and guide and couldn't have asked for a better time.
