I am late today and just seeing this. Port Canaveral is not a city. , it is part of Cape Canaveral. It can be very confusing, like Cocoa and Cocoa Beach are 2 different places separated by about 10 miles and 2 rivers. Anyway if you are driving in taking the 528. I You will see the ships before you actually get there. hey will be on the left. The signage is quite good. It is the overhead neon signs that state the ships and terminal. You are going to Terminal 8. The Disney ships are on the North Side . Exit 54. Just follow the signs.You should not have a problem. If you are coming from a different direction, just let me know.

Good Afternoon from a sunny and warm day at the beach I can salute incredible kids. I know several that are just amazing. Like the Big Bang TV show occasionally. Never been to todays port. It is distressing to see so many of our dailylites with health concerns. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and hopefully will be doing better soon. The ground breaking was today for the new hospital in Merritt Island. The current hospital in Cocoa Beach is old and needs to be evacuated every time we have a hurricane. Only problem it will be a good distance and delayed response time to the new one. Not sure how that will be addressed. Maybe helicopters. That is how they transfer now to Melbourne or Orlando. Good Morning from a cool but sunny day at the beach It is only 59 going to 70 but the sun makes it feel warmer. Good day to wash my car. I am a Taurus. I try to be happy every day. I learned long ago, to "let it go". Sometimes easier than others. The meal looks good, may have to try it. I have never been to todays port. I am on a golf hiatus until after Easter. The course is just too crowded with all the visitors. I am going to the range later this week and taking a lesson to improve my bad habits. My plan today is to shop for the Easter baskets. Special thanks to all who keep this going. I have been to Moorea twice, 2019 on the Eurodam and 2022 on the Noordam. Beautiful island with very welcoming people. First time did an island tour,.In 2022 it was a very rainy day so stayed pretty close to the port. @grapau27 Graham, Sorry to hear what you, Pauline and Sarah are going thru. Very busy along the beach. Lots of people in town. The latest news is that Brightline Train is putting a station in Cocoa. Will be at the Rt 1 and 528 interchange. No timeline yet. Didnt make sense that they totally skipped Brevard County but looks like that will be fixed. It would give cruisers out of Port Canaveral another option. It was announced a few days ago that a station will be built in Cocoa. The area where the train turns to head east along the 528. ( RT,1 and 528 interchange) No timeline announced so probably will be a few years.

My family tree is quite straight forward, DH family has roots everywhere. Yesterdays golf tournament was a great success. Everything worked out despite the hiccups in planning. My nephew won. Yeah! I was the designated putter for my team. Happy to say, I made 8 out of 9 putts including a few long ones. @kazu Thanks for the kind words yesterday. This hip thing is from years of lifting my DD. It has been awhile since it acted up and seems to be doing better. Going to walk in the pool today and that always helps. @grapau27 My deepest condolences for Sarah on her Dad's passing. Good Morning from a warm and sunny day at the beach Why would being nasty have its own day? I try very hard to avoid people that are nasty. I will celebrate Women on this Womens Day. Not sure that todays port is really a port. We sailed thru that area on our 2022 circumnavigation. Not much to see from the ship. I think the beauty is below the surface. Today is our Golf tournament. Unfortunately I injured my hip and cannot play I tried going to the range yesterday to see if I could swing. Not a good decision. So one of my friends will hit in my place. I will just ride around with my team. So disappointing but not much to complain about, given what others are going thru.
