  1. What i see when someone says "Welcome To CC" 😄
  2. You all realize the OP is a fake account, right ?
  3. Fantastic selection .. if you have a car, the ABC down in Cocoa Beach is huge with a big selection.. such a nice place. The ABC in Cape Canaveral a bit smaller ..
  4. I kinda miss it .. i liked the announcements!
  5. We're booked on Seashore out of Port Canaveral in September. First time trying MSC and really looking forward to it! Our fare included the "Easy Plus" drink package, which appears to cover only well-liquor and drinks up to $10. If I order something above $10, do they just charge the difference to our on-board account .. or is ordering something above the well level not an option? I notice the next package up is the "Premium Extra" package. Does MSC allow us to upgrade from the Easy package to the Premium Extra ahead of time to cover the better call-brands? Thanks for any info!
  6. Ok good to know ... thanks for the info!
  7. We're in Fantastica ... so we have no choice re: time ?
  8. We've just booked Seashore for Sept. We're brand new to MSC .. so do you reserve your dining time each nite on the ship .. or do you just show up at the dining room when you wish?
  9. $110 per day is absolutely insane. We were on Mariner 5-day this past April and watched for a bit before buying.. when it came down to $74 per day, we grabbed it .. that was as low the price got for our sailing.
  10. Word of the day: "Draconian". 😁
  11. You're blaming flu on the ship? And anyone who starts off with "How bad is ..." has already decided they're gonna have a terrible time. Maybe cruises aren't for you.
  12. Tell that to the bankruptcy court judge. 😆
  13. We were on Mariner this past April out of Port Canaveral. As far as MDR food, it was hit or miss for us on this one (party of 12). The MDR was beautiful and our server team was amazing. Quick service, even drinks and wine came quickly to the table (which was always an issue on past cruises), they were super generous with the bread basket (left it on the table instead of just serving one piece at a time; refilled when asked) ..and they couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. We were about 60/40 on the food, though. 60-good, 40-not good. They were very quick to replace anything we didn't like with something else. I ordered the Indian option several nights and loved it each time. The appetizers were either very good or just Meh .. portion size decent to a bit on the small side for certain things, but they were quick to bring additionals of anything we asked for. One thing we found peculiar was the steaks. They had the NY Strip on the menu each night and the first night, they were decent enough. But each night after, they got smaller and more gristly. Couldn't figure that out .. it was strange .. and by the last night they were the dregs and not edible. But we all just rolled with it, got substitutions when something wasn't good and still really enjoyed the MDR service and cruise! Again, though .. this was in April. I'm sad to hear it seems to have gone downhill everywhere since. It s*cks that cruise prices keep climbing and climbing, but the cruise lines keep cutting and dumbing down their product.
  14. Nice looking ship! Glad to see this line expanding.
