  1. This is their e-mail address: Sheraton.schiphol@sheraton.com
  2. I have stayed at the Schiphol Sheraton and Hilton many times. The Sheraton is much closer to the terminal and check in. I usually travel with a larger wheeled suitcase and a smaller back pack and I'm in reasonably good shape. It is certainly doable to get from the Sheraton to the check in areas or vice versa. You will need to take an elevator or an escalator type ramp down to the large reception/shopping area at Schiphol, cross it, and then take an elevator or a escalator type ramp back up to the check in area. To get across the reception/shopping area in Schiphol to the Sheraton or vice versa is probably 300 - 400 meters (or yards). Usually you are dodging a fair number of other passengers also. There's also a train station under the reception/shopping area with passengers moving about in the area prior to boarding. If you have more than 1 wheeled suitcase or un-wheeled suitcases per person. I would try to get a porter at arrival and ask for a Sheraton bell hop to help you on departure.
  3. I think they have it all over the ship. I've had in Tastes and in the Marketplace also.
  4. Happy Sailing Keith! I’ve been on Serenity since December 2nd. It’s been wonderful!!! Crystal - better than ever! Unfortunately, I debark Saturday, so we won’t meet. You may see my fingernail marks on the gangway as they drag me off the ship. I Always appreciate you’re helpfulness and the kindness of your posts! I'm sure you and Anne Marie will have a great cruise!
  5. Thank you everyone for the information! I’m boarding Serenity on December 2nd and can’t wait to be back!
  6. There used to be an iPhone app you could download to your phone prior to your cruise to see menus, read newspapers, etc. Does this app still exist or has the functionality migrated to the iPads now installed in the suites?
  7. Keith, Thanks for these pictures and all your other informative posts. I'll be in one of these rooms for 3 weeks in December. I think this will be good for me.
  8. Hi Keith, Thank you so much for your posts and feedback. I really appreciate the information! Two questions, if you have the time, but don't go out of your way to answer. Please enjoy your vacation! 1. Is the Bistro open in the evening after dinner? I used to enjoy going there for some light desserts, cheese and some wine after dinner. It wasn't open in the evening during my last cruises on Serenity due to staff shortages. It was a nice nightcap. 2. In Umi Uma (or UU as an alias), is the Nobu Box offered again? No problem if not, but it was a convenient way to try 3 specialties of the restaurant. Thanks!
  9. Have a great trip! I look forward to following along. You and Anne Marie always have such great and uplifting travel blogs. I'll be on Serenity in December. I'm really looking forward to being on my favorite ship and seeing familiar faces again!
  10. Keith, Thanks for posting the photos of double guest room and Ocean View with Verandah. You're always very helpful! The room updates look very nice. They appear to have less storage than the older layouts had, but still should work fine.
  11. The Crystal Webpage for Serenity dining has an image of the Bistro on that ship. It looks nice, not sure about the green though... One thing I missed on the last few Crystal Cruises I was on in 2021 is that the bistro, at least on Serenity, wasn't open in the evening. I guess this may have been due to staffing shortages. I really missed going there after dinner and having a glass of wine and a small selection of cheese and mini desserts. I know keeping it open later, until 9 or 10 would require extra staffing, but I definitely enjoyed it and I noticed a number of other folks did also. https://www.crystalcruises.com/ship/serenity?sm=dinings&id=osteria_d_ovidio
  12. I was in cabin 7208 a few years ago, a rear facing slanted balcony. The location was very nice. Yes, you couldn't see ahead, but the balcony was very large and had a lounge and two chairs and a table. The room was nice, but needed updating in 2017, the bathroom could have used an update, fresh caulking, maybe, and the bedside tables looked a little worn. Eclipse hopefully has been updated since then, but it wasn't bad. I was happy with the room.
  13. I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station for a Celebrity Cruise in June 2022. It was nice. Not spectacular, but comfortable. Rooms were clean. It was easy enough to spend the day before wandering around Amsterdam and then a 10 minute walk with rollable luggage to the cruise terminal day of departure.
  14. Bon Voyage! Thanks for posting about your cruises and your replies on others’ posts. Your comments are always helpful and positive. Have a great trip (s)!!!
  15. I have a similar question. Can the bottles be 1.5 liters? I don't see anywhere that they must be 750 ml bottes. I have a drink package. I like to keep some wine in the cabin as a nightcap and I'll be on a cruise for 10 nights shortly. It's just easier to have some wine in the cabin later in the evening than running off to a bar to grab a refill.
  16. Sorry 2 USB outlets by the bed and the one 120VAC US type outlet.
  17. On a regular infinite veranda cabin, there are also USB outlets and one US 120VAC Outlet by one side of the bed. I understand on the other side with the phone, there is a USB outlet on the phone as well. I'd expect the solo cabin layout is the same.
  18. I'd be interested in taking this excursion also
