  2. Dinner choice would be Turkey Noodle Soup, Salmon and the Strawberry Crisp with icecream. Lisa, interested in your comments that the new HAL house sparking wine is an improvement on the previous one , which I called "gut rot".

We had a superb view of the beautiful big blue super moon last night. Yesterday we visited friends of many years, he has required hospital treatments for a few years, is now receiving hospice care at home. Best wishes to all on the Care List.

Thanks for listing another New Zealand wine, one we are not familiar with. @StLouisCruisers Congratulations on achieving your 5 star status, we discovered ours during a cruise, the information was placed on the bed during evening turn down. @ger_77 the young man was so lucky that expert help was available during the flight. Do all Dailyites know how to perform CPR? It's a pleasant sunny day, temperature 14 C. Was pleasantly surprised while walking this morning that a motorist stopped and waved to me to cross an intersection. Best wishes to all on the Care list.

  10. @richwmn Rich, a bit late, but thank you for listing another New Zealand wine today.........another that we have not previously heard of. DH arrived home from helping with the Cancer Society fund raising with a nice bunch of freshly picked Daffodils.

  13. Today, Friday 25th August is Daffodil Day, This is a fund raising day for the Cancer Society, DH and fellow Rotarians will be helping. Folk can buy Daffodils {real or artificial } or other cancer Society products or make a donation. Helpers will be stationed at street corners, at supermarkets etc. @richwmn Rich, Thank you for posting the Fleet locations and the Daily, will read all the posts later.

  15. Thank you for posting the locations of the HAL Fleet and the Daily. My day started with an 8 am appointment for a check up at the Dentist...........nothing further required, given an appointment for a checkup September next year. Visit to neighbourhood supermarket this morning. It's lovely sunny day, temperature 12 C, no wind. Hundreds of Snowdrops flowering in a neighbourhood garden, lovely to see them when i walk past. Will go and read all of today's posts.

Thanks to those who posted photos of today's port, which we have not visited. @JazzyV appreciate all your work with the Care/Celebration lists. @kazu A big thank you for continuing the Future Cruise Lists and Bon Voyage messages. Ten years shows true dedication to cruising. Also thank you sharing photos of your beautiful Dahlias. Pleased that Ivan is improving, he looks very much at home. @Mr. Boston Wishing you a very Happy Birthday. @Vict0riann thank you for sharing photos of your Dahlias, hope that the fires will be kept under control, so you do not have to evacuate. @Cruzin Terri sorry that you are once again having so many problems, hope that your flooring will soon be dealt with competently, and you are satisfied with the result. Had intended going for a walk, changed my mind when I went out to pick the first flowering Daffodil in our garden, the wind is bitter, straight from the Antarctic.!
  17. @aliaschief Bruce, It appears that you will be here February 21st, would have been good to meet with you again ..........seems a long time since we met you in Akaroa, but alas we will be heading to Noordam that day. We are both doing good. Always appreciate the humour in your posts on the Daily.
