  3. Thanks to Rich, @richwmn for the HAL Fleet locations and the Daily. Thanks for all the photos of Hubbard Glacier, there was calving when we were there, on the Volendam. Our electricity suddenly went off last evening during the womens football match , Spain v Sweden. It was partially restored about 10 pm, then fully at 1145. Apparently a fault. We had torches and candles within easy reach. Best wishes to everyone with health issues.
  4. @gregma60, am pleased that the mistakes HAL made have been corrected for your upcoming cruise. HAL added an R to my Christian name for an upcoming cruise, our travel agent contacted HAL for the correction.

  6. @richwmn Rich, thank you for posting the locations of the HAL Fleet and the Daily. Woke to snow this morning, sun came out and by 1030 it was beginning to melt. The cat wanted to go out, so let her out on the deck, she cautiously stepped along, but quickly came back indoors. Sad to see the TV news photos of the fires on Maui, visited Lahaina during our three Trans Pacific cruises on the beautuful Volendam Best wishes to everyone on the Care List.

  8. Started reading today's thread earlier, then decided to go for a walk before the weather deteriorated, afternoon snow is forecast. Five minutes into my walk rain began, so it was a short walk, around the block, thinking of 30 things to be grateful for. Since then have had a very heavy rain/sleet shower and more rain. @marshhawk pleased to read your news. @rafinmd good that your power is back. @ger_77 Hope your DH will not have to wait too long for the pacemaker to be inserted. Every day is cat day in our home. @richwmn Thank you for the Fleet report and daily.

  10. Have checked the HAL Aus website, the prices are all in AUS dollars, interesting to compare your N.Statendam 14 day with a Noordam 14 day but in March. .........Sydney to Auckland.   13. Pinnacle Grill breakfast and Laundry/Dry cleaning are great perks. During one cruise another passenger entered our stateroom number on their laundry slip, the concierge dealt with this three times for us. We have often eaten lunch in the Neptune Lounge. Enjoy your Noordam cruise.

Have not been to today's port, thanks for all the photos. @cunnorl Congratulations on your Anniversary. @lobsternight Wishing you a very Happy Birthday. @aliaschief hope the rain has eased off and that you do not get flooded. Re the food discussion for folk being treated for cancer, when I was having Chemo and Radiotherapy, discovered that some food/drinks tasted horrible, now 4 & 3/4 years later still cannot drink strong coffee, and avoid some foods. It's been a journey of trial and error.........but chocolate was/ is OK.!

Have not been to Bari, thank you to posters who posted the photos, it looks to be an interesting place to visit. @marshhawk you mentioned me yesterday, I had posted with information about Cherry Juice, on the day that @ger_77 told us that her DH had gout, Best wishes to all on the Care List.
  17. We have twice done the Australian Circumnavigation cruise, both times anticlockwise, on board the Volendam and the Maasdam Both were very good cruises.
