This seems to be happening more and more on HAL. Too many times I have been given answers that I KNOW are not correct, so I have to ask for a supervisor. Happened several times to me last week on the Eurodam - especially bad front desk.

Are you on the Eurodam 29th sailing? If so, see the roll call.

Seems to depend on the cruise and how many high star people are on it. I have seen 5 Stars only and sometimes 4 and 5 stars.

Do they still have an airport shuttle? If so, cost?

Pros and cons please on this cabin. Also, how "bumpy" will the ride be in open waters?

Go anytime. Usually boarding starts around 11 am but this varies by port and ship.

We tried that two weeks ago and the front desk was absolutely NO help. Said they had no control over it. And of course, we did not get the medal later on.

Tried to purchase a bathrobe on last cruise (last week) and was told at the front desk that they did not have any for sale.

We earned our Silver medallion two cruises ago and were told that since that was a short cruise we would get it on our next one. No biggie, since that was only a month away. Next cruise we were invited to the medallion event and while 4 others received their Silver, we did not! Talked to the crew member in charge afterwards and he said that we were not on his list but would check on it and we would get it on next cruise (heard that before!). That evening we received a printout from him showing all of our cruises and days, but no note or explanation of why we did not get it (we were clearly due it, even by hos printout). Very dissapointed.

Just off this cruise and did not notice anything. Spent alot of time in the public areas of decks 2 and 3, but cabin was on 7.

My DW had the Morimoto lobster tails at dinner the other night (regular menu) but WITHOUT the spices they use and she thought it was excellent. Interestingly, the first time we asked about doing this the server said it could not be done, but a couple of nights later at a different table the server checked on it and got it done! He earned a nice tip for his extra effort!

Is HAL still sending out post cruise surveys? We normally get them the same or next day after we disembark, but nothing yet.

Then do not worry about the time. Just show them the PRIORITY on the pass whenever you want to board.

Hyatt House in Dania Point. Nice facility, great shuttle from airport, friendly staff. Shopping/dining right next door.

Having Breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill on the 8 smaller ships is a real plus.

Just stayed at Hyatt House in Dania Pointe and it was great. Plus lots of shopping and dining options right next to it. Great service and newer rooms.

Same experience off the Eurodam this morning. At the departure GATE at 8:30 am. It was a Wednesday however.

Tried to use Luggage Direct this morning and it was messed up. Only got one of us processed and we were both on same reservation. HAL ship front desk was no help. Plus luggage tag was poorly printed and it did not have the connection flight number on it - which is not the norm when I check my bags with the airline.

Just today we did the opposite - from the pier to airport by taxi for $13.50, but this can vary a bit depending on the terminal you are going to. Very quick and easy an took maybe 10 minutes.

Just off the Eurodam. Sign at front desk for Club Orange, but no one seemed to be using it, likely since not many people take it on a non-Pinnacle class ship. Volendam was even worse - shore excursion desk did not even bother to put the sign out until I called them on it.

I could not get the app to download and show my reservations for excursions last week. I deleted the existing app and reinstalled the new version and then it showed.

Generally HAL cruises have few kids, but 7 day ones when school is out and just to CA will likely have more (but not as bad as the other lines).
