So our renewed passports were sent back exactly one month to the date...Received them on Sept 9th after paying for expedited processing and express shipping....we were so excited....went ahead and got some tickets to fly to Vancouver and jump on the Majestic on Sept 26th.... Processing times are much faster these days.

We get free play all the time. It does NOT count towards points. If I use the free play on the 2nd or 3rd day of playing slots, there are no points given when I use that. I usually start out with my own cash to play then use the free play later on.....I have been doing this for a very long time.

I put a seasonal type decor with a magnet on our door. It helps my husband find his way to our cabin!

That is amazing - ours are renewals received by Dept of State on 08/09/23 - and expedited no less and pre paid express mail delivery.....maybe it has to do with your location. Ours were sent to the Philadelphia office for expedited . Lucky you!!!

We submitted expedited service and also paid for express mail delivery for our passport renewals - it is almost 4 weeks and there has not been any email update which was requested- all it shows is that it is in process. Have a cruise next month and hoping to get the new passports back sooner rather than later. Yours is good news....being hopeful.

That's what we do too....I always bring a night lite that plugs in to the outlet in the bathroom Who needs a glaring light like the one from their sensor!

We were there last year and they did not have the shuttle, but easy to get a taxi or Uber.

We were on the crown to Alaska on June 13. Of all our princess cruises…46….this ship is my least favorite., our mattress was simply awful…they did replace it with one worse than the one we had. Then another one came and it was just okay. the room steward was great. the food was just not good and we are not foodies. There was no labeling of sugar free desserts on the buffet and the selections were slim. I have never complained about the food on princess but this one was bad. the captain was very aloof at the most traveled guest cocktail party. His noon announcements were nonexistent. We enjoyed the casino despite all the smoke. I doubt we will go on her again .

Have never seen a roach on a princessship in 46 cruises. On the caribbeAn princess now..docked in San Juan, PR……no plumbing problem for us but someone on this deck…dolphin….overflowed the toilet. there are temp variations from area to area. Our cabin is cool, the casino is warm as are the elevators. the room stewards are great. service in the buffet are good…no issues for us. our luggage was delivered on a timely basis… overall, no problems for us..the food is good…we r not foodies.

On the caribbean princess right now. Food is good…the pool decks are crowded as one would expect ona sea day. Headed to Puerto Rico tomorrow. Ship is sailing fine…all previous issues of engine problems are nonexistent. our cabin is cool but there are very warm areas on the ship, one of them t,he buffet area. overall pleased with this ship

i usually have between 10K and 15K and have always received an offer for a balcony, $600 free play and princess plus pkg....Last trip was 10 days and had 14K points - my offer was for the balcony and free play....no princess plus...they are getting more selective. My husband had 5500 and his offer was an interior and $250 FP..For 7000, you would probably get the interior and some FP. P.S> Your mantra is also mine...

The points appear on the screen where you cash out, etc. They will follow you to every machine until th the last day of the cruise. They start on day 1 but do not accumulate when you use free play cash.

The offers are based on points - it seems if you get at least 4000 points - you will get an interior with $250 FP - that is what my husband usually gets..I usually have 10,000 to 14,000 and get a balcony with $600 FP including the PP. Last cruise, no PP just the balcony and FP but then trying to claim the offer thru that call center is a totally different story....It is like pulling teeth.

I think we are going to give the Carnival Jubilee a shot - have an offer for a free balcony and $500FP, plus drinks anywhere on the ship. Not a Carnival fan but this is a new ship so will give it a shot after we have used all our offers for 2023 with Princess.....four booked . Princess is just getting really weird about the casino offers.

I agree - entire process of deleting and reinstalling takes about a minute.....problem solved....why does it have to be so difficult?

Delete and reinstall is the best solution to medallion issues. I have done this successfully several times.

We boarded the Crown on June 13th at 10:30am - it was a breeze - on the ship in 15 minutes!

There is no truvia on any of the Princess ships - I always bring my own.

We are on from JUly 15 until Aug 4....everything looks to be a " go".....
