  1. Oh please NO ...too much sugar in those concoctions.
  2. So the main issue is all these people jamming in to the elevators....please stop doing that.. Wait for the next one or take the steps if you can. I would stay away from the Princess theatre and any other crowded space. We cruise a lot and have never had covid after a cruise. We are vaccinated up to date...do not wear a mask , but do NOT jam in to those elevators where they just laugh at you when you walk out.
  3. Terrible news - so tragic. We have taken Chilkoot Charters tours on several occasions and have always found them to be safe and reliable. Hopefully all involved are well.
  4. I always bring my portable fan.....never had a problem except once boarding in Vancouver, security tried to take it away . I told her it was for medical purposes and she allowed me to keep it...
  5. If you have knee issues, I would not go to Mahogany Bay beach.....
  6. We fly to Ft Lauderdale from Houston on Friday - I will pack tomorrow and be ready to go!
  7. Never had that problem......I carry duct tape wherever I go.
  8. First thing we do is cover that little sensor with duct tape....it is so annoying....
  9. Easier to just do car service or Uber - cheaper too!
  10. WE arrived about noon - hoping to avoid all the early birds...disembarkation was a breeze because US customs took up half the day checking people on board...Of my very many cruises, this process was the worst and I do not blame Princess...
  11. We sailed from Boston on the 14th - Embarkation was totally chaotic. The boarding line went down the street and around the corner...
  12. We have over 75 cruises completed - 60 on Princess..We always eat at the buffet and have never been sick...Wearing gloves will not prevent transfer of airborne illness.. Just keep your immune system healthy , wash your hands before you eat and please do not jam in to those elevators. That is where people get sick. If they jam in, I just get out and take the stairs.
  13. Maybe you booked later??? We always pick up at the blue line and we cruise about every month. It is not a big deal and not a big delay...
  14. We use Carmel Car Service in NY . They are reliable and efficient.
  15. me too - anxiously awaiting to see if this is real or not!!
  16. Enchanted is one of the worst for smoke.....We are also going on the enchanted in August and we gamble quite a lot...It is difficult to stay in that casino even in the non smoking area but I heard they are changing Take 5 to a non smoking casino....Still the awful odor lingers. On our last cruise in May on the Emerald, there was a couple below us on the Dolphin deck that smoked all the time...I called them out several times and I also called guest services and security...They finally stopped......there are those that will never follow the rules.....I hope Princess does go to nonsmoking at least in my favorite place- the casino.
  17. Just walk up the hill in Bar Harbor and get a piece of the amazing blueberry pie at the coffe place next to the book store...it is the best. then do the Acadia National Park tour on Oley's trolley..
  18. First timers need to do the Greatest Catch excursion - it is awesome.
  19. Check out Viator for tours - we are going to Louisberg for the 4.5 hour tour. They will pick up at the port.
  20. On the Emerald now….everything is great….we go on the Regal more often…like both of them I would choose by the itinerary.
  21. Carmel car service is wonderful from LGA to port. We use them all the time.
  22. ON the casino comp cruises , I suppose we will still have to pay the port fees and taxes outside of that quote??? Just wondering...
  23. Take the mini with the balcony - we must have our balcony.
  24. They need to abolish the PVSA - it is outdated and serves no purpose today. I have had two trips ruined because of it.
