We are also Diamond Plus and we are going to do the BOGO deal, do you happen to remember the price on board for Chops & Giovanni's? I know someone once suggested to just buy what restaurants you are interested in from the cruise planner and only buy for one person and then both people show up to the reservation, I somehow do not think they would allow this. I noticed in one of your pictures that you have a portable fan in your room, I am wondering if you brought that onboard yourself or did you request it from the cruise line. If you brought it yourself, did you pack it in your checked luggage or carry on? We are planning on bring a fan very similar but when I did some research it had to have, if I remember correctly, CSL, on the plug. Thanks for your help 🙂

I have a co-worker who worked at K-Mart, and she worked in the women's clothes department. She said they would take wax paper and rub it on the bars, and it would allow the hangers to slide smoothly on the bars, not sure if that would help on a square bar.

The price is from the Orlando airport to Port Canaveral. Our plan: -fly to MCO day before cruise -hotel shuttle from MCO to Residence Inn Orlando Airport -GoPort will pick us up at hotel morning of cruise -our hotel + return shuttle is about the same price as you quoted ablove

That seems to be the going rate, if not more. We used GoPort before with no issues.

My husband & I have organized and helped out with a few slot pulls over the years, but we have stepped away from them for the reason you mentioned above. People were concerned that we were getting something (the few points acquired) that they were not. You definitely don't get a lot of points and it takes a lot to organize a slot pull, so for us, it just wasn't worth having people complain when we only did them for fun and to meet other people onboard. We are staying at Residence Inn near MCO, and GoPort looks like it will pick us up at the hotel the morning of the cruise at 11am and drive us to the port. The shuttle cost is $29.99 per traveler.

Am I wrong, or does the annual Prime cruise not show in our accounts until mid-April or later? Has this changed?

It is being offered on my sailing in the cruise planner and it says "from $109", does anyone have any further information. I was just getting clarification, on another cruise line with the bidding process, there are certain perks that go with the room if that room is purchased in the first place, but, the perks do not go with the room if you happen to be successful in the bidding process.

I am wondering if anyone knows if the thermal suite is included if you are successful in your upgrade bid. We can bid on a Spa Balcony and a Spa Club Balcony on Bliss, as well as The Haven, which we are not interested in. I did try searching the boards as well as NCL website but I could not find a definitive answer. We are in a regular balcony. Thanks for your help 🙂

Thanks for the review, you did a great job! I am wondering if you happened to notice if there was a noodle bar in the buffet. We were on the inaugural transatlantic cruise on Bliss and there was a noodle bar then. I tried looking at the pictures to see if I could see it but I could not.

I bought a tray from the dollar store and it comes on every vacation. My husband uses it for coffee and breakfast if we don't want to order breakfast room service. It works out great and takes up very little space in the suitcase. On Serenade in May, the Windjammer actually had take out containers to put your food in, but you had to ask for one. I'm not sure if all ships have them or not but worth asking.

Pre-Covid my husband & I made arrangements to get on the ship a a different port, and made arrangements to get off in our home port. This needed approval and there were certain rules. Since Covid, they have not been approving this, they said because of Covid and the rules in different ports. You never know, things may change in the future. My husband & I have done several Transatlantic cruises, we love them! There have been smooth sailings and a few rough sailings but we don't mind them either way, although on the rougher ones, there have been several seasick guests onboard. Good luck with whatever you choose 🙂

It is possible the person who took the voucher, didn't cash it in right away but put it in a slot machine and played the money, and then maybe cashed it in. Either way, not cool 😞 Sorry you are having to deal with this on your vacation, hopefully you can still have a good time.
