I'm the OP. Ended up booking a cruise in MSC's Yacht Club.

I thought that changed to not being "required" for overseas cruises. I was asking for US cruises.

Our cruise is 10/29 (8 days). It was between Seashore and Oasis. Seashore was a little cheaper with (as you know) more benefits. They still had me listed as Diamond....I thought I might have expired. Did you get a chocolate ship? There were only a few YC suites left and none on Deck 16, which I probably would have selected. Are you going home now, or do you have something else planned?

Does MSC require insurance with Covid coverage. I should know this, but since I hadn't booked yet, I sort of skimmed over those posts. I seem to recall they did not for US itineraries.

Has anyone ever used the MSC travel insurance? How did you find it?

I just booked a cruise on Seashore today. I haven't been on MSC for several years. I seem to have forgotten how confusing their website is. Any tips? I have a headache and will try again tomorrow.

Yeah, that's what I mean. Am I the only one that keeps getting these names confused?

18003 - Too close to the restaurant entrance? (lots of foot traffic?). On wrong side for the light show. 19040 Noise from the pool deck above. 19044 " " Which would YOU pick?

Seashore, Deck 19 on Yacht Club, is the farther back the better to avoid the noise from the pool deck above? We don't really have much choice as far as deck. Probably want to decide in next few days.

Would you suggest the farther back the better to avoid the Sun Deck noise?

I try to avoid being under a sundeck also. However I don't seem to have a lot of choice here.

There doesn't seem to be many YC suites left on the sailings I'm looking at. A couple of them are on the bump out area (19040, 190460.) What are your opinions of these suites. What's across from them?

Do you have to have the Concierge make reservations in the dining room? I read somewhere that "Italian Night" in the MDR is not to be missed. Too bad about the over ride on the elevator. We did it a few times. (Sorry, I am an evil person😈.)

I don't think Princess (did you mean Princess) has anything like the Yacht Club.

I thought that at first also. However, now I think he means no longer delivered on the YC sun deck. Otherwise, I don't think no lobster is a perk.😒

Thanks. I know other cruiselines take into account only the cost of the trip and not age.....hence why some people as they get older go that route.
