  1. I was looking at a cable car tour to the top of a mountain, with a Christ statue on top. Wondering if anyone had done that (or gone to the top of the mountain via taxi).
  2. New port for us. For those who have been there, what did you do?
  3. Does MSC allow children with swim diapers?
  4. We were on a cruise in April. Before hand we were nervous about Covid, but once on board I don't think we gave it another thought. Hopefully, the same will happen to you. (and we did come home Covid-free).
  5. That's what we have for our next cruise. 😄 That's including taxes and port fees. If you back those out, it's even more.
  6. Sorry, this was pre-pandemic and I don't recall anymore.
  7. Just verify once onboard. I've read a few posts where people were told by their TA that OBC was refundable, only to find out once onboard that they had to use it or lose it. We've been told our OBC is also refundable, but I'm going to make sure I check!
  8. Yes, it worked for me. I watched how a butler did it and then I just did what he did. I understand the Seashore (that we're booked on for Oct.) has a different set up for the elevators.
  9. Did you get notified what benefits you were entitled to with your Diamond status? How? (Our last cruise on MSC we were Black, but I do not recall how we were made aware of our "freebies.")
  10. You stated that the YC was full and had lots of kids also. Did this impact your enjoyment in any way?
  11. Aside from what you would get with a status match (I do love those chocolate ships😄) why wouldn't you think that 5% off isn't worth it?
  12. When I joined CC in 2003 they were still giving out envelopes. I remember a poster who used to brag he didn't believe in tipping and that he would stuff the tip envelopes with paper.😒

    OBC

So what is the story with MSC now. We will have $600 obc and it is refundable according to the TA.
  14. Whenever I read about life guards I am reminded of a Ronald Reagan story. He was a lifeguard in his youth, with many recorded saves. When he was in the last stages of Alzheimer's, he did not remember being President of the United States, but he remembered he was once a life guard.😥 We had a swimming pool in our high school. It was a requirement of graduation that we had to pass a swimming test.
  15. Hmm. If there were people being tested in the Covid testing area, they must have found out somehow. Curious, don't you think?
  16. Is this free Covid testing area new? Were you notified by MSC or your TA or someone that it would be available.??? I think it would be a great option "just in case." 70 children? That's a lot. Let us know how that goes.
  17. I'm not sure. I know I made sure I did the status match before I booked my first MSC cruise. It may be too late for this one.
  18. If that's selfish, and inconsiderate, consider me to be that also. We were on NCL Joy in April. Didn't get Covid. Crew wore masks but most passengers did not. We actually forgot all about it. I really don't know if I would even think I had Covid with a headache.
  19. I'd love to see a photo of the necklace .🤍
  20. OP, what were your symptoms that made you self-report? How are you feeling (physically, not mentally) now? Have they given you any meds? Taken your temperature? Or just left you?
  21. Are they still doing 5% off the price of the cruise (for any level). ??
  22. How many hot tubs are there on the pool deck of Seashore's Yacht Club?
  23. Does MSC require health insurance for US citizens traveling out of Miami?
