Which would you pick ? The Family Suite w/balcony (SB) or the Aft Facing Penthouse (SN) ? This is on Norwegian Dawn. They're within $50 of each other for an 11 day cruise.

Is "italian night" the same night in DR and YC?

I have read this before. Does YC have an "italian night"? How does it differ?

Is taking the photo necessary for web check in? I know they usually take it at the port anyway.

I guess if I was travelling solo I might feel as you do. However, as a couple I never felt I was waited on "hand and foot." If was more of a "isn't this nice" feeling. I guess I can't explain the difference.

SirWolf, we have a YC stateroom booked on deck 18, a few rooms down from the restaurant. I was originally told this would not be a problem (being too close to the restaurant). I was also told to not change my reservation under any circumstance, because MSC will, in all probability, mess it up. However, do you think I should move further back if the situation presents itself, or leave well enough alone.?

JAGR, Just curious. Why do they no longer offer Prosecco upon embarcation? Don't they still offer soft drinks and juices? What's Covid have to do with alcohol? I'm usually a little tense before I board and I find a quick drink of "champagne" helps me relax a little.🙂 Also, we were in Haven in April and really liked sneaking off the ship via the back elevator. MSC doesn't do this any more?

What's your favorite specialty restaurant on Seashore? DH always enjoys the Teppanaki-type specialty for a change and fun dinner. What's your opinion of that one, and any other favorites?

I also had my annual exam. My last booster (Moderna) was in November. I told my Doctor I was going on a cruise in October....should a I get a booster now or wait. He said to wait for a new one hopefully in September or early October. He said he didn't think the current booster was much good.

I asked the question about the drink package because I've seen some websites offering YC bookings without amenities, which struck me as strange, because the pricing was the same. Anyway, I still reserve the right to ask stupid questions.😁

Have all the jewelry stores closed up shop? I recall coming here and reading post after post about jewelry store recommendations. Now, there aren't any.. I don't buy expensive jewelry in the Caribbean. However, sometimes I just like to look, and DH also, he likes looking at expensive watches.

If we have Seashore booked for Oct. 29, should we anticipate having a whole new (and inexperienced) team in the YC because all the "good ones" will be on Seascape?
