  1. Next time, ry the virtual you may feel better.😊
  2. Maybe when Royal ships go for rehabbing, they should convert all of their cabins to Suites which will provide a high yield and satisfy the pencil pushers/revenue Managers.
  3. My bet is on the casino. Just from my personal experience. 😂 However, I make some of that up by an instant $ off certificate and an annual free cruise.
  4. Although high prices there are a plethora of eggs in my store. More concerned with the scarcity of certain products on shelves.
  5. Maybe that is what they used to prepare the seafood salad. While on Oasis in October, I had a yearning for a nice tuna salad for lunch in the WJ. Tried a few times, but no luck. One day I saw next to the chicken salad the so-called seafood salad. It was horrible and tasteless even with the amount of Mayo. Whether it was the mayo or the ingredients I came away very disappointed. Also, if you ask the waiter what type of fish is in the dish, he or she does not know or will mention a fish type that I've never heard of.😊
  6. I guess you haven't seen the new menus being introduced. Only a single lobster on the special night and an upcharge of $16.99 + grats for a second. Someone mentioned a larger lobster, but I've yet to see a comment on the size or the quality of the cold Maine lobster tail.
  7. While the Hilton is no longer operational, I was able to find the following link and it's called "Serenety Beach Pass at British Colonial." The price as shown is $25.30 per adult and includes lounger, umbrella and towels. Nassau All Inclusive Resort Day Pass & Shore Excursions (resortforaday.com)
  8. I cruised Oasis in October and the lower level was mostly assigned to the Disabled. There was also a poster some months ago that mentioned multiple ships and only disabled Paxs were allowed to park int he indoor garage and all others in the open lot garage.
  9. The lower level of the parking garage is available for disabled. It’s a short distance to the terminal.
  10. Our dining times on Oasis was early traditional. One of our ship's tours was to Disney World and the return trip was scheduled for 7:30-8+ PM. We spoke to our Head Waiter, and he told us no problem. Once we got back, we asked for him and were promptly accommodated in MTD dining room. We also, could have gone to the WJ as it closed at 9PM.
  11. Same here. I was primarily examining the entrees, but I don't see the Royal chocolate cake or the Apple Blossom. I used to pair that with vanilla ice cream. By the way, we're on the 2nd week of the intro of the new menus on select ships and unless I missed it, I haven't seen any reviews.
  12. They should have included chips and salsa as an appetizer. Maybe imported from El Loco Fresh🤣
  13. My granddaughter has a lactose allergy, and she was treated like a Princess. Both on our Easter Anthem sail and Oasis October sail, the Headwaiter came over each night and went over the following evening's menu and modifications made to any selections. One evening, on her behalf, we asked if they were able to get the special bread from Chop's and sure enough it was available the next evening. Agree, the WJ is a totally different story.
  14. I received a tally on the last evening and also a f/u e-mail a day later. Question is the CC charge the same as what appeared on the APP or the interactive tv. Also, call Royal and I'm sure they can re-produce a detailed tally.
  15. Can any recent Paxs that have dined using the new menu, report on the size and quality of the cold Maine lobster tail.
  16. Maybe you should recommend that the Dining Room randomly rotate the nightly themed menus to keep it fresh & interesting. Also, as a fallback there is also a kiddie's or Vegan menu.😊
  17. Do you realize that there was variety on the present menu. The only items were the 4 entrees in the classic side remained constant. The classic was a fallback for diners thst did not like the entrees on certain nights. By the way baked Alaska is on the present menu also. You would have liked the old way of waiters carrying or placing the on fire baked Alaska as they traipsed and danced in the MDR.
  18. Funny, how many different reasons/excuses they give you. When sailing on Anthem on Easter, we were dining at Jamie's and the same question was asked of the waiter--can we get the lobster tail on lobster night. He did not say no but mentioned since it's not a Royal restaurant they are prevented from providing this service. Sounded plausible and logical to me. Just a side question--is the upcharge Chop's filet cooked in the MDR or at Chop's and delivered to you in the MDR.😜
  19. Very impressive. Talking about making use of an ear of corn.🤣 Is this the chicken dish.
  20. The blow back will be that the cabin steward will be getting less or no add'l grats. Less service = less pay.
