Following... My wife and I along with another couple are on the same cruise. Love the extra time in St Thomas. Looking to go to St John (Trunk Bay) Cheapest way to go is via taxi and ferry. I'm looking for a private charter that can pick us up at the ship and take us to St John for 5-6 hours

We have not received anything and NCL is still selling the cruise like we are stopping in the DR. I can't imagine we will. I tried to book a private tour in the DR a few weeks ago with two different companies, each one came back and ask if I was sure if the ship was stopping. They didn't want me to pay if the stop had been canceled. That was m first clue Lol

Yes, it’s insane. Two coworkers and two friends had their flights canceled yesterday out of NYC and PHL. No flights available until this weekend. I would seriously look at 2-3 other options. Car rental, train

From past experience it’s usually cheaper to book a Balcony Spa Cabin vs a Regular Balcony and then buying spa passes

I have always printed out our E Docs and used them for check in at the pier. I printed them again last week. I was messing around with the NCL app this morning and was able to "Check In" and download the PDF. The check in PDF with the bar code now shows up in my App. I'm assuming that will work for check in at the pier???

I'll be curious to see if we have Spa on our Haven Spa cabin cards in a few weeks

Nice review so far. Not surprised at all the ship didn't leave until this morning. The winds were howling yesterday and last night. It would have been miserable if they left yesterday

On my particular cruise NCL using the emissions and environmental excuse for the time changes to the port schedule is a joke. Considering we are traveling about 3800 miles total, the slower speed from Barbados to St John, (260 miles) now putting us three hours later than the original port time isn't going to help much over the total trip. Now that we have sea days to putt putt back instead of two I guess would help more

What I find really strange is not all of us going on this cruise have received any information. I know a few people going and they don't have it. I called my TA who works for a large travel company in NJ. The last official info they have from NCL is the daily rate changes. When I called NCL last night and spoke to two people they knew nothing about the change in itinerary

If you can afford a cruise you can certainly afford to pay for a bag of laundry.... First world problem

Just found out our itinerary has changed and will be in St Thomas for 11 hours. Instead spending 3-4 hours at Megans Bay we (4) of us want to take the ferry over to St John. Trunk Bay looks very nice. We arrive at 7am and plan to get right off. Assuming taxies are right outside the dock that can take us to Red Hook?

Will have 5.75 sea days total. We were just going to spend 4-5 hours at Megans Bay in St Thomas. Since we picked up three hours I'm going to look in taking the ferry over to Cruz Bay on St John

Not the change I was hoping for. From what I was reading about NCL and the DR I knew we were most likely not going to stop there. However I though we might stop at GSC or Nassau. We are also loosing three hours of beach time in St John. Maybe the distance between Barbados and St John has change since NCL originally planned this itinerary Lol

We are arriving later because they are saving on fuel and traveling slower..... LOL It doesn't make sense, not happy about loosing three hours of beach time in St John

Where did you see this? I haven't received an email with the change, just looked at my NCL and its still the original itinerary. *****.... they shortened St John by three hours. Its like our 2018 14 day cruise all over again Lol
