  1. Go for it, do not worry what others think. Halloween passengers wear costumes eith nobody blinking an eye, Christmas Eve families wore PJ’s. Enjoy your cruise.
  2. We had a similar offer from our steward on our last cruise on the Sapphire. As we had eaten in both restaurants a couple of times we did not accept.
  3. Thanks, we have exactly the same information on our summary. Those without passports have the required Birth Certificates and will have their military ID cards. We have taken them many times to Mexico with no issues. Yes, I know they should have passports, but they don’t. Parents may try and get appts to submit applications.
  4. Thank you. Yes we are aware of this form. Having it signed and notarized is the issue.
  5. I resurrected this post. We are in a situation where obtaining passports for the children is not possible prior to sailing as there is no way their father can either sign or be present for passports. He is military, on assignment and will return a couple days prior the cruise. We have been repeatedly told by Princess the kids can travel on birth certificates and Id cards. Just wondering if anyone has done this. The cruise is a closed loop out of Seattle. The children are US citizens, both parents will be on the cruise.
  6. @Tean94were you able to cruise with birth certificate and ID?
  7. We had no problem bringing food items onboard on a British Isles cruise.
  8. Our experience from May, 2022 British Isles and December, 2022 Antarctica cruise liquor will be confiscated and delivered to your stateroom the night before disembarking.
  9. My son applied for his Military OBC on Thursday thru SheerID with the funds applied to his account by Sunday morning. No issues.
  10. Have walked thru the Art gallery forward many times and have not noticed noise from the Atrium. There appears to be storage between the Art Gallery and the midship cabins. Appears to be a quiet space with some thru traffic.
  11. Our December transit to BA this was held in Skywalkers. Nibbles ranged from beef tartare, samosas, wontons, shrimp, vegetables, cheeses, olives and a variety of dessert options. Most items were served in self serve containers. Nice variety. Drink service was not the greatest with waiters. Bar service was excellent. Say high to Franklin and Tamara.
  12. We had a similar offer over the holidays on the Sapphire. Selections in the package were dreadful. The price is off the onboard price, but do not remember it being 64%. I may be wrong on the discount.
  13. Having just spent 30+ days in D741 on the Sapphire I never noticed any odors on the balcony. The only drawback to the cabin is the large beam on one side of the balcony. We knew this going in as it is labeled partially obstructed. Would definitely sail in this cabin again.
  14. Additional, Rombauer was price was after the package discount. Per glass was around $16 as I had many $4.62 charges. Switched to red blend Le Vigne Nikiara red blend for an additional $1.18.
  15. I have not seen wine packages offered since the restart. Prior to the pause in 2020 the wines were not the best. Since the restart nothing has improved. If the the boarding port is convenient bring on your own choices and pay corkage. My favorite daily is Rombauer Chardonnay.. Onboard it is mid $80’s supermarket $30.
  16. Military OBC is refundable. Shareholder non-refundable.
  17. Your problem is with AON not Princess. We cruised in April/May of 2022 and for some reason did not add insurance. Needless to say one got Covid. Claimed directly with Princess for quarantine in London. All expenses reimbursed end of November. Many fellow passengers still waiting pending AON actions.
  18. We arrived in BA in January 4 also. Checked our passports and no stamps for Argentina. Must be electronic as we were able to check into hotel and fly out a couple of days later.
  19. No issues with any of the possible cabins. The IB cabins are less expensive than IA cabins. Same size, amenities and service. The difference is location, the lower the number the closer forward. If price is an issue the B340, 341 would be my choice, if not up to B420. Enjoy your travels, you will enjoy the Caribbean.
  20. Barcelona and Athens have duty free stores after security. No issue picking up a couple of bottles.
  21. Whatever change they made in January 2022 contributed to the issues. Good access on October/November/December 2021 cruises. Currently in South America with internet access poor for the entire trip. Ship advised access would be limited 12/24 thru 12/30. Nothing has improved since leaving Antarctic waters.
  22. Currently on the Sapphire, we are currently masked for 3 days and the entire ship will be tested on the 22nd. Masking will be reevaluated after testing. In light of this I would suggest doing a proctored test to save any last minute scrambling.
