  1. People continue to fight with all the glitches. It can be emailed in to SBPCL@Princesscruises.com. I scanned my recent stock statement and sent it in with the booking number and sailing date and it was posted in my personalizer within 24 hours. They also told me in a confirmation email they will be rolling out a web version next month to submit the stock credit perk.

Bring the popcorn, doesn't take much space. Tip one of the crew in Windjammer and I am sure that they  can use some microwave in the kitchen not available for the guests. You have nothing to loose by asking 🙂

Why does everything end up with "tip". Don't you think their suggested tipping amounts are high enough. How about RCL  accommodating cruisers without this suggestion of more tipping.

  3. I have several magnets always in my suitcase. I use one per excursion and line them up in order by the door.  I also keep the first patter on the wall with all the ports listed and the time frames in port. I use both flat magnets and ones that are clips to hold papers. Love this trick.

you have  to download an app to get stockholder credit. Anything  we should know?

I did my stock credit this week without any phones or app. Email SBPCL@Princesscruises.com and they will tell you to scan a copy of your latest statement and give your name, date of sailing and booking number. They said next month they will roll out a web version for getting the stock OBC.

We are booked for November.   I see that you must request dining preference through the Princess app.  Is it prudent to download the Princess app now or wait until after final payment

NEVER! I have never had a second of stress over their app having never used it.

This is only the beginning of price increases across the board.  Holland America just increased their daily gratuities, With the ships sailing full they can do pretty much anything.  I still think cruising gives me a good value for my vacation dollars.  Just wish they would work on the quality of their food in MDR and in buffet.

For guests occupying suites, the daily gratuity charge will see an increase to US$19, marking a 9% rise from the previous rate of US$17.50. Non-suite accommodations will experience a 6% adjustment, with daily rates moving from US$16 to US$17 effective February 1st on Holland America.

These are suggested, you can decrease the amount at guest services which I do.

What do you mean by not loaded? You mean there was no money on the card?  I'm going to buy a carnival gift card for my cruise later this year to use on board for drinks and such. Is there a way to find out ahead of time how much is on it?

Ihere was a zero balance. Carnival buyers are complaining on the AARP community board about not receiving their cards at all. Once you get the card via email go to the cruise site and do a balance inquiry.

NO, I don't believe so.  Cannot charge to cabin account either.  I presume you are asking about FCD's.  They require CC AFAIK.  Guests do not purchase FCC - it comes from Princess from cancellation refunds or other recompense to a guest.

Gift cards are not future cruse deposits. They are like any gift card you buy at various venues.

  9. It's none of our business where the tip goes, no one knows if it goes into the fleet wide pool or not.

Do you have the premium alcohol package because if not you will pay $5 for room service when adding those extra items. The items on the card are included in your fare at no extra charge.

Now that you updated your flight a cheaper price, at final payment the total amount to be paid will be your cruise fare and the updated flight costs.

If you find the price drop after the final payment, I believe that the difference will be given as OBC or charge back to the credit card used for the final payment.

Is this really true since the OP says they took early payment?
