Good morning and thanks for the daily updates. No better day to reconcile than today. Chocolate covered truffles would be nice. Not sure about stupid toys but Lucy from the Peanuts characters certainly felt strongly about them! The quote is good advice. I got my Covid booster yesterday and it kicked my you know what! I was achy with a low fever all night long. It finally broke at 7am when I woke up drenched in sweat but feeling less achy. Will pass on the meal and drink suggestions today. Good morning everyone. Thanks for the daily report, recipes and lists. I admire all you cat herders out there. Not into regifting, it seems kind of cheesy to me. I’d rather donate something I didn’t want to a charity shop, someone else might buy it. I do like a cup of tea in the mid-afternoon. I like today’s quote although Almira Gultch in The Wizard of Oz didn’t instill much confidence. I’ll pass on the meal and drink suggestions as we’ll be having leftover beef, cabbage and barley soup from yesterday, which was delicious and simple to make (recipe one). Hi @kazu, we’ve cancelled our 5/25/24 14 day Norway cruise on Rotterdam and replaced it with the 6/1/24 7 night Canada/ New England cruise on the Volendam.

I’ve been MIA the past two days as we went on our annual Christmas shopping trip to Freeport, ME via the train. Today is my Aunt Roberta’s funeral service in Detroit, MI. Her family only wanted a small service at the funeral home due to her age and the fact that our family is so scattered, so my sister will be representing our family. Thank-you everyone for your kind thoughts and prayers. There’s always room for more good. I try and conserve energy every day. We tried roasting chestnuts once and didn’t feel it was worth the effort. I like today’s quote very much. The soup sounds like a winner that I may try this evening. The drink also sounds nice. Good morning everyone. Thanks for the daily updates. What would we do without our apps? I didn’t realize that there were food drives for needy animals. I remember trick or treating for UNICEF when I was little. I live by today’s quote, when I was in business school we learned that a professional’s most valuable asset was time. Both the meal and drink suggestions sound tasty. We visited today’s port over Thanksgiving, I’ll try attaching some photos that I took from Portland’s Japanese Garden. Good morning. Thanks for the daily update, recipes and lists. Nice collection of days, I have a sister living in Illinois who I’ll have to educate today as I’m sure has no idea. We should all celebrate joy today, if we can. If I ever have a halo, which is highly unlikely, I’d spring for a self-cleaning model. Risotto, no wine?! A mild, overcast day in store here, perfect for the South End Stroll in our neighborhood, a holiday bazaar including the shops and churches in our area. Cheers to all of our favorite bartenders. I’ll pass on the meal and drink today but I have to say that we had yesterday’s arctic char suggestion for dinner last evening and it was delicious, totally worth the effort to make the sauce.
