My husband's luggage was lost for two days. The issue is that the airline has procedures and they could care less if you told them where the bag is. If it hasn't gone through their scans and process, no one is going to make an effort to find your luggage. I thought trackers were a great idea but bureaucracy triumphs.
Was in Istanbul for a day from port. All tour reports were pretty awful. Both private and ship. I heard those who did the tram were happy. Istanbul's crowds and traffic were problematic. Lots of frantic walking and groups getting separated. Do the tram
Taxi was 25 euros to Archaeology Museum which closes at 3:30. We arrived at 12:30. Got hussled with a taxi going back. After you see the acropolis, Athens is just frustrating.
We boarded the Epic Nov 3 and the shops, as of this sailing are permanently closed. I peeped behind the canvases and the were truly all empty. No display windows either. I wonder what is going on?
I have an "unable to upgrade" on my request even though they allowed me to increase my bid just now. There are 87 cabins still available in the category I am requesting. NCL just gave me the email for upgrade tech issues but they haven't replied (not a surprise.)
Has anyone seen this problem before? Others on my cruise have already gone from inside to balcony.

It was automatic. Our dining companions were under 65 and didn't have paper copies. We didn't request them (we're over 65) but used our phones onboard. We certainly appreciated the paper copies, though. I enjoy looking at those in the evening to prepare.
On our last cruise. In May, RCL gave paper dailies to everyone over 65. We try hard to stay on top of technology because those who don't become more dependent and isolated. We download the cruise and airline apps.
I've met people with interline rates that were as low as $200 for a 14 day transatlantic sailing. Of course, they had only two days to prepare, but are also likely given free/very cheap airfare, unlike us mere mortals.
I was on an NCL cruise in 2016 where the CD staff was encouraging PASSENGERS to volunteer to do lectures. This would have been a spontaneous presentation. Egads.
What can OBC be used for? To pay outstanding gratuities? If I don't use it, will it be refunded at the end of my cruise? Can I purchase a shore excursion over the phone and use my OBC?
Thanks.
