To me, Cabin 4545 looks to be a crew area ( could be crew cabins, gangway storage). I would not book anything on Deck 4. I have had cabins on Deck 5 under the Galley, I didn't mind it at all.

There is a General Manager's Conference being held in Miami right now. All 19 General Managers are in attendance.

Prayers for you as you heal and for Dad. Parts of the cruise was very hard on him. Now that he is "home" again, how is he?

I lay mine flat on the floor in the closet. You stand them up in the closet, they could roll side to side in rough seas.

Suggestion: if you are staying at a hotel downtown, ask them to hang on to your bags, go sightseeing, come back, pick-up your bags and head to the ship. You have to be onboard 2 HOURS prior to the scheduled posted sailing time. Chances are your cabin will not be available before 2 P.M. Enjoy the city of Seattle and your cruise.

Questions: (1) What ship? (2) Are you traveling Solo? If traveling Solo and there are Solo Balconies available (fairly new classification of cabins), what's the price? Sometimes might be better and sometimes not. Might be worth checking out.

From the Pacific Northwest flying to Miami that only goes to 3 ports in the Bahamas in 5 day cruise-- total waste of time and money. Rather go on a longer to cruise to somewhere much more interesting than beach, beach and beach.

On Deck 13 all the way forward is the Spinnaker Lounge. Large lounge with lots of floor to ceiling windows to watch the world go by.

From all the media reports I have seen, NO ONE was seriously hurt or needed off ship medical attention.

At the very bottom of the Access Desk Form there is a section that specifically deals with food issues. I would fill out the form so that your information can be tagged into your room key card. Every time you present your card at a restaurant, your information will show up on their computer and printed out for the waiter. Enjoy your cruise. What a wonderful adventure.

I travel solo all the time. Rarely do I make reservations. I usually show up at the posted opening time and can be seated as a solo within a few minutes including Cagney's. I would not worry about it.
