    @smitty34877 Really NOMB - but what relation is Tana to you? I thought she was your daughter but your today's post mentions your DD & Tana. @dfish The 6-bean chili (minus the navy beans 'cause I couldn't find any in the 3 stores I went to) is simmering in the crockpot.

    For our 35 day cruise it made sense but for shorter cruises, it probably wont. We likely won't do any ship excursions (been to all the ports), don't need wi-fi & we're happy with our cabin choice. We purchased Club Orange because we had a great experience with it.

    @JazzyV YAY on the longer sleeping & bigger YAY on the lesser pain! I'm still fighting the dull aches in my back & left leg.

    Splasher's in Kailua was a really good restaurant until Covid came along.

    We were looking for a hotel in San Diego in December - everything was Sold Out - turns out there's a medical convention in town ... You might do a Google search for conventions in town for your dates.

    We've been to Maui for the last 20 years & are headed that way in 3 weeks....I agree with your last statement. 😞

    We'll be on Maui next month & will definitely miss Lahaina - some of our favorite shops & restaurants were there. 😮‍💨

    You can look at a dining room layout - the tables are numbered. Once they have picked a few tables e-mail Ship Services with their requests.

    We've been to these ports before --- Manzanillo several years ago & there wasn't much to do or see & Loreto more recently - same. Anybody have any recommendations for either walkable or private tours for these ports? TIA.

    Nor am I impressed by the Panama Canal -- seen the Hiram Chittenden locks too many times.

    I said lunch, not dinner & it was on the Koningsdam.

    For some reason the MDR just isn't our favorite venue...too loud, slow service no matter the day of the cruise or the meal, feels like a high school lunchroom & on our cruise last year the lunch menu never changed.

    Before there were size limits we bought Victorinox large suitcases....now hubby still uses his but I have a Delsey (which I'll trial next month to Maui). I'm all about low weight but adequate space. I think the V weighs 8 lbs empty.

    Jason Meyers is also a great PCC...never in a hurry. He's in Vegas.
