  1. If I don't try I'll never know. I won't be quite up to par when I go so I am looking for easy activities to keep us occupied
  2. I booked the spa on Iona last night and it was £39
  3. I think the football shirt thing is due to perception. A few years ago we were traveling with my brother and he turned up at the airport in his football shirt. Now I know he is not boisterous or a hooligan yet I was embarrassed by it. I told him to put a shirt on coming home
  4. I didn't want a face cloth but I was given moisturiser. Soap and shampoo are in dispensers
  5. We were. I think everyone was determined to have a good time. One of the happiest cruises in my opinion
  6. Well said. I came back to this board 4 weeks before my cruise in October. It left me very apprehensive. I then had an excellent holiday. One of the best I am going on Iona in a couple of months and have just been looking at the ship in 'my P&O'. It looks great. So I will go and see for myself because at the end of the day, mine is the only option that matters
  7. Because they are 'doing the right thing!'
  8. If it not recommend by NHS for over 60's surely P&O shouldn't require it
  9. I do hate it when 'improvements' make things harder. Popping a form in a box was simple
  10. I wish you all the luck in the world and hopefully you can find answers for your dilemma
  11. Oh I do like this post and totally agree Mb. If people want to eat vegetables one dish should be sufficient and just leave the meat off the other dishes. Also just because someone doesn't want eggs I don't see why the rest of the ship has to have chickpea merengue. Some food can't be adapted, merengue is one.
  12. I may not be the right person to advise as I have not been in a suite. However 'what you've never had you never miss' springs to mind. And £3500 is a lot of money. Also if it is amazing you won't be able to go back. That happened to us when we had our first balcony for a special occasion
  13. It wasn't available for us in October. Previously you have been able to book before you sail in the dining section
  14. On Brittania most who hadn't used the app got in as they arrived. If you booked there was a slight delay but this was only as they called people in blocks
  15. Yes, they do. Some during the day also
  16. Thanks for this. I was looking at the restaurants last night and wondering which you have to book and pay for.
  17. For me it's just being able to open it and have fresh air.
  18. I have 14 for Christmas. All of them younger than me. So I will be a spectator!! 🙂
  19. Thanks Jody, I've just ordered this. Pick it up at little Sainsbury tomorrow Our 8 year old will love it
  20. We booked online. Makes it easier as there is often a queue. You can pay a little bit extra to get a refund if you don't travel
  21. 5 boys definitely but I've never seen kunzle cakes. They look nice though
  22. They were late being added for us. I would just keep checking
  23. I have just been a bit sneaky. I was going to post my local cards on Friday but PO announced it was the last day. As our post is collected early morning I had missed it Having read all the thread and all cards being delayed. I have just posted them and hopefully everyone will think the delay wasn't down to me
