  1. I have been cruising since 1973 and have never been in a cabin where an announcement could be heard.I have cruised on 6 different lines.
  2. On RCI ships and presumably other cruise lines you can order anything on the dinner menu as well as other menus even if they do not have the gluten free icon.You have to do this after dinnner the night before.
  3. I just returned from getting my teeth cleaned.I told the Dentist that when I was a kid every child patient was given bubble gum after getting their teeth cleaned.
  4. We cruised to Alaska in a May.We brought clothing for cold weather and they had the warmest weather in history . Enjoy your cruise
  5. I knew two prominent graduates of Syracuse ,Steve Rubell and Vaughn Harper.Presumably your husband graduated many years later.

In several areas of NY if you want delicious frozen yogurt the place to go is Red Mango.If you sign up for the Birthday Club you get a $5 coupon that is good for 30 days.You also get points with each purchase that do not expire.My birthday is in the summer so it’s a good month to have the yogurt .There are many flavors as well as combination flavors.
  7. Several years ago I knew a guy who was in a CSN tribute band .He told me that one night they were playing at a venue that Graham Nash was in..Afterward he told them that their rendition of Almost Cut My Hair was better than CSN’s.

  10. Last year I was talking to a guy in my Parkinson’s Support Group and found out that he was a long lost cousin of my son in law Eric. One of Toby’s cousins is currently doing a geneology check as is one of my cousins.Yesterday my daughter who has a house in upstate NY was talking to a store owner and found out that he is a long lost cousin of Toby.
  11. I retired at age 56 but my wife was still working.A friend of mine talked me in to work for his company even though I never worked in that field . I retired again 5 years later.

  13. We have friends who have a summer home there and have been there several times but not recently.The last time was 2002.Enjoy the day.
  14. It is an area that attracts tourists in the summer months and food prices tend to increase.
  15. In 1966 I had already graduated college and had a fulltime job working for Life Magazine.I cannot recall my salary.
  16. I worked in a diner type restaurant making sodas and sundaes when I was 16.It was a weekend job. I cannot recall what my salary was.
  17. We have some really great ice cream parlors in my part of NY but they tend to be quite costly like $7.50 for a scoop.
