It took me an hour to get in today.

I am taking my annual flu shot later this afternoon at a pharmacy.Last year I had the shot at a doctors office and had a terrible reaction.

It was wonderful.Three of the people who came went to the same HS as your BIL who lived in Brooklyn but did not know him.Currently I have three neighbors who went to my HS when I was there and we did not know each other.I think that kids in school in 2022 know many other kids because of all the communication advances.

Kit Kat’s and Reese Peanut Butter Cups are my favorites too.Nestle Krunch Bar is high on my list as are M&M’s.

Yesterday one of my former neighbors was in my house.I had forgotten that he is a HUGE Yankees fan.I emphasize huge in that he was a HS football player and still has the same built.This past July he was on vacation with his wife .They were in a restaurant and saw on a wall a picture of the Yankee team celebrating Larsens Perfect Game.He told the Manager that he would like to buy the picture.He was told it was not for sale.He asked if it was for sale what would the price be. He now has the picture on a wall in the den in his house.

We have had the same thing too.

I do not think we have had 40 in all the years we have been living here.Although our Condo has a lot of kids they do not seem to be in the Halloween spirit .When I was a kid there were hundreds of kids trick or treating every year.

Perhaps.We are all old and dealing with a lop of medical issues.Two of the couples had a 4 hour drive each way .

Only one kid rang our bell so far.They tend to come late here (with a parent)

Thanks,Maryann.A good portion of the day was everybody talking about their grand kids.I think I posted this ,not sure.My granddaughter who is in college saw somebody just outside the entrance to the college who she knew was famous but she was not sure who he was .She asked if he would take a picture with her .He said sure and it was Mark Cuban.

Unless it rains .It is predicted to rain her tomorrow.I am taking the flu shot and I hope it will not be raining too hard.

We just got a call that my son in law Eric has Covid .He took the booster shot last week.

70 is young .Why should that be a factor ?

It was a wonderful afternoon .Non stop conversation except while we were having lunch.We even discussed cruising and CC. Thank you.
