My daughter and son in law who live nearby came here a few days ago to take our deck and terrace furniture out of the garage to set things up for us.If there is a breeze I will sit outside later.

It is 72 here now.It was supposed to be a high of 86 but it was just changed to 91. The pools in the development opened at 10 this morning.Normally the majority of people get there in the afternoon.My thinking is that they probably reached capacity already today.

We very rarely have the AC on because I have Raynaud’s disease.I cannot be in the cold .However,it may be in the 90’s here today and we will likely have the AC on.

Being downsized was a huge shock to me.Every Friday the guy in charge of the company selected an employee to join him for a catered breakfast .He called me and asked me to come to his office and my though was it was my day.It turned out to be my worst day in quite some time.

I retired in 2004 and Toby in 2008.We downsized to a condo in 2003.

It is storming in my area now.The thunderstorm began 3 hours ago.

Dani:Are you famliar with an Israeli singer Eliad Nachum ? He is appearing at a concert in NY next month.

I worked for a company 25 years and was downsized with other employees.I was 53,way too young to retire.I found it very difficult to get another job.Employers were looking for younger people.17 months later I was hired but a year later the company merged with another company and they cut staff including me.I had to go into a totally different field to find employment.

I just finished binge watching the third and final season of Who Killed Sara.? It was great.

He lived on Plymouth Drive in Cherry Hill.He had a very unusual last name and said that was why people knew who he is . I have a friend who was born in Buffalo.She and her family moved to Brooklyn in the early 70’s.She and one of her brothers now live in Fla and the other brother lives in PA.

My daughter and son in law are ski buffs.They had a shared ownership of a ski lodge in the area for several years before they bought their home up there.They have a tremendous amount of land.I forgot the acreage . The town has a post office,a gas station and a convenience store,no other businesses.They have neighbors across the road but nobody else living close.On the day they were moving in the neighbors came to greet and introduce themselves.The couple only live there in the summer,the rest of the year they live in Long Island .

We both know that George meant to say that the METS will be the winner if they play this year.😀

From 1986 to 1992 I worked with a guy who lived in Cherry Hill.He told me that everyone living there knows him or knows his name.To date I have met (mostly on cruises) about 30 Cherry Hill residents and none of them ever heard of the guy.

We used to drive to upstate NY a lot in the 70’s ,Finger Lakes,Corning,Alexandria Bay,Saratoga,Lake George and Bolton were our favorite areas.Our younger daughter and her husband have a home in upstate NY,a town with 241 full time residents.In the winter people go there to ski and it tends to get very crowded. pp

I was last at LBI in 1972 and only for a few hours..We were visiting friends in Manihawkin and they gave us a tour of the area that they just moved to.

The last time I was at the Finger Lakes was about 50 years ago .It was such a beautiful area.

I have been watching the Mets since 1962 ,I was at Shea Stadium on opening day.

I watch every Mets game .Denver is supposed to have 6” of snow tomorrow .

Earlier tonight I was talking to a friend who lives in Brooklyn about pizza.He said that where he lives a slice of cheese pizza IS $3.50. The last time I had pizza (before the pandemic) it was $2.25.

I always wanted to do a TA but Toby never wanted to do a cruise with 8 sea days.That would not have been a problem for me.

In my part of NY it is expected to hit 86 .In Denver,Colorado it was 84 today and it is expected to be 36 tomorrow.

I was thinking that too when I saw a portion of her speech on the news.
