I have a journal for the period of my birth to age 40.However,there is nothing in it about my New Years Eve’s experiences.I have vivid memories of things as far back as age 2.

I worked in Manhattan 40 years.In those years it was always a great place to be ,day or night.

You have to go on a Kosher cruise to get the real thing.However,if the CD is Jewish she or he will make sure that you get as close to the real thing as possible.

Staten Island was always a great place to live .When I worked at my long time job many people retired there rather than Fla.I spent the summer of 1959 working there and it was great.

That night I had an adventure.I went with a friend to a party.When we left he could not get his car stated.I suggested that we walk to where we could get a bus but no buses seemed to be running that night and we walked all the way home about 8 miles.

My parents listened to Guy Lombardo on New Years Eve every year on the radio,Last year on NY ever I watched it for a while on You Tube.

One of my friends retired to SC ,quite a difference from NYC.

I cannot recall when we had our first color tv but my parents from 1952 lasted until 1992.

It is very windy and stormy where I live now.The Condo Management installed supposedly storm proof glass doors for the decks and terraces.This will be the test today.

The first show I remember watching was Milton Berle .Only one family in the apartment house I grew up in had a TV .Neighbors were invited to the apartment every week .My parents bought there first TV in 1952 .It was a black and white screen console .The brand was Andrea.

I never did that .When we moved to LI in 2003 we went to a local 4th.of July concert followed by fireworks.It took several hours to get out of the parking area.

The bathrooms at Sak’s Fifth Avenue are the cleanest public bathrooms I ever used.

I am basing my experience from 1962 .Apparently it is a lot different now. However,it is still something that many people say they wish they had gone to at least once.I equate it to going to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in person.
