John’s has always had great pizza. After retiring from my long time job I worked for one year close to John’s and went with co-workers at least once a week.
Yes,it is .When I was physically able to I would meet a friend in midtown Manhattan and walk to the Manhattan Bridge .After having lunch in the area we would walk to the northern end of Central Park
Last December a former co-worker sent me a picture of myself from about 40 years ago.I wanted to post it on this thread but did not know if I could so I decided to try on the Floataway Lounge .I was able to do it but for some reason could not do it on here.I recently tried to transfer my picture from Floataway to here but have absolutely no idea how to do it.I do not remember where in my house I put the picture .
Does anyone have any idea ?I am so computer illiterate.
Unorthodox is excellent .A book that I read has a similiar plot to Unorthodox. It takes place a few blocks from where I grew up.It is Leaving Eastern Parkway by Matthew Daub.I e-mailed the author to tell him that I enjoyed the book and found out that we have mutual acquaintances.
My friends and relatives who fly into the area to cruise from Bayonne always fly into JFK,never LaGuardia or Newark.I have lived in NY all my life and have never flown from or to Newark and only once to LaGuardia.
My two favorite midtown Manhattan restaurants are :
Carmines -200 W.44 St.Italian cuisine.Toby and I have dined there more than 50 times and the food and service has always been great.
Le Rivage 340 W.46 St.French cuisine We have dined there many times and the food and service is always great.Reservations are a must.
Le Rivage is on Restaurant Row,wall to wall restaurants ,many cuisines.
