  1. They need to get back to the original Guys burger or just get back to the old burgers Carnival cooks did themselves, not Guys. I think I was on the second 2.0 ship that Had Guys burgers. Might have been the Sunrise or Sunshine. Super juicy and thick plus delicious. No more. For several years now they went down to almost no good. Last Carnival cruise they were so very thin and burnt you could actually see through them. terrible. Fry's were burnt and soggy. If the Deli has fry's they are usually very good. When they are not busy I ask to ahve one made my way. But the ball on the grill, mash it down once only. Not over and over. Then yu get a somewhat good burger. Still the taste that was great is no longer. The Velveeta cheese give it some zing to taste.
  2. I do not think you are correct. Those prices were in line with other lines and it was before the pandemic. The pandemic and not being able to sail hurt everyone especially smaller cruise lines. BPCL especially. Overcharging is no way to make a profit and keep customers returning. You lose in the long run.
  3. Open the port hole !😉 Get a nice breeze. Maybe some heavy mist with it.
  4. Glad to hear. Our 4 night cost cruise only is $204.00. Great price and got the cabin we always used. OBC is $25. Casino play $50 and our Stock $50 I am sure it will be fun and too short.
  5. We went with high expatiations. Cruised on this ship a couple of times before the change. It was a nice ship for its age. Looked just fine. Food was only so-so drinks were strong and not expensive. Now, the food is much better and a wider variety. Ship has the Caribbean flavor which is nice. However, everything else is way over priced for our taste, especially the cruise itself. We are about to take a 4 night cruise returning on the 5th day on the Carnival Liberty out of Port Canaveral. Just a little less than the 2 night on this ship which we took about two weeks ago. $653.72 Ocean View mid ship. Cabin only $204.00 pp plus the tax. Off site parking is $9.00 a day. Plus, Guys burgers. Free pizza and soft serve 24/7. Plus $125.00 OBC. So, those that have no problem with spending, enjoy yourselves. Many like the 2 dayer because of work. We enjoy getting the best for the dollar.
  6. Those who have sailed on the Liberty recently, please give us a quick review. Cruised on it 7 times in the past. Last time we were on it was Sept 2017 and we are on it again this June 27th. I read that it is still a really nice ship.
  7. Yes. Usually in the evening it is down right cold in the common areas. You see a lot wearing jacket's or sweaters. This is what I bring on board, every sailing. Alarm clock with temperature that happens to be very accurate. So is the clock which is automatically set via a radio frequency of Greenwich Mean Time
  8. FYI Carnival 16oz glass is $6.00-$6.50 a bottle of beer is usually 12oz.
  9. Pizza yes was $15 plus $2.70 gratuity. It was delicious but $17.70 really?
  10. So you ended up paying $39.00 or $7.80 for a beer. The $99 package we had. The mixed drinks were all watered down. Lucky if you could tasted the alcohol at all.
  11. Two weeks ago we docked in Freeport. Needed the masks to go through the welcome building. Then we took them off. Same when returning to the ship. Never asked to put them on anywhere else.
  12. 50+ sailings with Carnival. Only once did we have a hot room, wanted to move us to a different room. We liked where we were. They correct it. I would say not a bad average at all.
  13. As for BINGO. It is the same on all the Carnival ships. I think you must win during the first 25 numbers called to get the jackpot. Otherwise it increases at every game played. The last game will be a coverall for the winning of the final jackpot. Some one will win it. We actually won the last day jackpot but had to split it with another winner. Still not a bad haul.
  14. LED lights through off little heat compared to incandescent. They were not the heat problem. I am sure it was a major A/C or engine problem of which I am also sure they were doing there best to solve. Remember, you cannot run to a supply company for a part. You can bet all the workers especially those down below wished more than you did that the A/C was working properly. Thinks about the cooks in the galley, those down below in the engine compartment.
  15. Thank you. We are cruising the 27th and are very happy to hear that. We are in our middle 70s and will NOT wear them.
  16. I have just finished reading some reviews about how Carnival and other cruise lines are double billing there charge cards. Look like they have not read Carnivals information about billing your card. They will get a pre authorized amount on your card, usually the second day of your cruise. If you go and look at your account at your bank it will look like a double billing it is NOT. It is only pre authorization. A few days after your cruise. That will be removed from you account and only the total you received when leaving will be charged. Needless to say. There can be a glitch and you will need to take care of it. I have never had any cruise line over bill us. 80+ cruises. Keeping my fingers crossed.🤞
  17. Those who just got back from a cruise. What is the requirements for masks now?
  18. Really. it is like the golden arches. Never goes out of date and is an icon to the cruiseline. Just like the they way they are now painting the ships. Looks great. Can't miss the ship being a Carnival ship from miles away. Brand recognition is certainly what they are aiming for and they are on target.
  19. Ah! It's a spoiler to give it down force. Little do I know.😉
  20. Totally agree. Sure looks a lot cleaner and nicer than others with the pipes just sticking straight up and out.
  21. Hum. I always thought any wing is aerodynamic. They are wing shaped are they not? Do they give less resistance to the ship? Doubt it.
  22. You carry the bottle as you would in any ice bucket with ice.
