We just got off the Encore last month. We stayed in the Haven which was an outstanding experience. The Encore is a huge ship with lots of options for food and entertainment not to mention the amazing lounge with lots of windows. We highly recommend seeing Choir of Man which is the current show on the Encore. Have a great cruise!

Yes don't miss it.  Also Kinky Boots.  They are both fantastic!

  2. I  like both.  Go on NCL with my kids, love the ships, lots of activities and great entertainment.  Go on Princess with my husband.  Definately more sedate and a lot of beige.   Not a lot of active things to do.  My "old sole" child likes Princess, the others prefer NCL.

I decided to go to see the new ghostbusters movie after work. I didn’t even know they were coming out with one but I saw a preview that seemed to indicate the original cast would be in this one so I decided to go see it.

This is your small popcorn and medium drink. I’m almost 30 bucks in at this point.

You could have gotten the whole ball of wax, (movie, large popcorn, large pop) for $12 at our theater.

We can see these luggage straps from a distance in the terminal, a porter has gone into the back area of the conveyer belt and easily located them, and they add strength to our lightweight luggage,

Mine disappeared the first flight I took.  Not wasting money on those again.  Glad they work for you

I'm fully vaccinated and tested positive for COVID last month.  I was also concerned about testing positive at the terminal.  So for reassurance I tested myself about two weeks after recovering from COVID and it came back negative.  Then I tested again 3 days prior to the cruise (verified), and again it was negative.  This gave me peace of mind.  At the terminal we were tested and again it came back negative ... but had it come back positive we would have been financially protected by NCL because I had a verified negative test within 3 days of sailing.

    Good idea.  thanks

LOL....mine just sits in my pocket until needed.  It requires zero effort.  They aren't making you drag around a laptop computer.

Well I don't carry a phone on a regular day.  I also don't have pockets in most of my cruise clothes.  So I imagine if you are used to carrying a phone it isn't a big deal to you.   It just comes as second nature.  I don't so it is a pain to me.

Hubby and I are booked for the Sept. 4 Alaska cruise from Seattle, and all I can say is that this totally sucks. We live in a sparsely populated area, no local pharmacies or medical clinics are doing testing for travel purpose. The nearest one is 45 minutes away and can't promise that we will have our results back in time. I HATE the constantly shifting goal posts. Boo on you NCL.

I think you lucky if you only have to drive 45 minutes to get a test.
