I am a HAL regular and see no reason for them to offer shorter cruises. My shortest cruise was 12 days. After that I decided I wanted to cruise for longer. HAL regularly offered those options. The longer at sea the happier I am.

They probably use rice flour instead of normal flour derived from wheat.
I will have to check and see if Delidoor deliver to Batemans Bay.
Yes they do. I checked when I saw all the gf foods they had. I was surprised that they delivered to Greenwell Point. They are in Sydney and deliver to Canberra and down the south coast to the Victorian border. Now setting up in Melbourne as well. Most meals are for two but I have been able to work around it. Seeing as it is rare for me to eat out this is my bit of decadence.

Bottles of red are a must for any trip.

People having to go to evacuation centres would not be helping things.

I was on the Maasdam when this happened.

Post office told me that passport would take 6-8 weeks as well but it arrived in 8 days.

Renewed mine two weeks ago. New passport arrived 8 days later. Very impressed.

Wishful thinking as I renewed my passport today.

ABC news has stated 20000 school kids tested positive in the last 2 weeks. These figures are for NSW.
-
Numbers are up in NSW because of all the kids going back to school.

I turn every road trip into a pie trail.

If you like reds see if you can go to Pfieffer’s winery. Hope the spelling is correct.

Having twice cruised Australia circumnavigation in October, I would definitely recommend an October cruise. The weather conditions on the two cruises were dramatically different. You can never predict what the weather will do.

Sailed Maasdam more than once. Was our favourite ship. Small and beautiful for longer cruises.

A happy, healthy and safe New Year to all.

Looks like I keep myself to myself for another year. At least the numbers in my post code remain low. Single digits. My only outing is to pick up coffee each morning. I still have received two notifications of possible contacts in the last month but all good so far. Booster due 13th Jan.

Nowra GPs are taking bookings for booster shots from mid-Jan as they don't have the supply. Checked government booking system and it said they had available bookings. BS
Booked into the Hotel Urban pre heart procedure. Did not get to use it much as I was rushed to Royal North Shore within 4 hours of arriving. My late wife stayed there for the week until I was released from hospital. She said it was a great hotel.

Our local rsl announced last night unvaccinated people cannot come into the club until further notice
Our local sports and bowling club has introduced the same rule to last until the end of the Christmas school holidays when it will be reviewed. Only 1 comment so far complaining about segregation. Everyone else is happy.

Holland America Line Westerdam is coming to Australa!
in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers

One of our favourite cruises was a Southern Australia cruise. Sailed from Sydney to Melbourne then Tassie stopping at Bernie, Hobart, and Port Arthur before heading around the bottom and up the West Coast. Followed by 3 stops in South Australia and 3 stops in Western Australia and on to Fremantle. Great cruise and could be possible for the Westerdam.
