This is a screen grab of Greenwell Point from Live Traffic taken just now. See if you can guess where our award winning Fish Cafe is?

219 ml in Greenwell Point but over 300 ml in Nowra. Wife had to miss a CAT scan due to flooding.

For NSW the best I can find is at NSW Health
https://www.health.nsw.gov.au/Infectious/covid-19/Pages/stats-local.aspx
Used to have it by postcode as well but I can't find it today. This is by health area and council area.

Down on the south coast of NSW?
Yes, Greenwell Point. Water slowly retreating as high tide has just passed.
-
Rain here 232 ml so far. Roads under water so no coffee yet.

Playing Bridge would be good at the moment. I'd make a call of NO TRUMPS.

Will really miss the Ms Maasdam. Sailed on her for 102 days. Obviously our favourite ship.

The family gathering spread to a school and then into the towers. All have now been connected through tracing.

Our local butcher competes in the annual sausage awards. Has won and been placed in South Coast NSW and NSW competitions. When we did Bunnings BBQ he donated all the sausages. Turned out to be a great advertisement for him. He does his own Ham, Bacon, Cabonossi, Pepperoni, smoked chicken and Smoked and roast beef. Oh and he also makes PIES.

Sunday night is pie night at home. So 96 if i don't have any for lunch.
-
Maybe only 10% of Aussies eat pies. 12 a year, i a month, you have to be kidding.

So if Australia keeps its borders closed until July 2021, so when do you expect it to open ports to cruises. Not till much later is my guess unless a vaccine is available and all passengers and crews have had it.
-
Any cruise listing Sydney as a destination in September or October is not going to happen. There will be nothing likely until 2021 at the earliest.

Isn't there a by-election taking place soon. Sorry I am too cynical.

The social distancing rule for clubs is a joke. Each room in a club will have its own limit. Our local club has five areas calculated at Bar 50 people, Bistro 30 people, Restaurant 30 people, function room 30 people, gaming area 20 people. And this is a small coastal village. Larger clubs with more rooms and larger room have no limit to the maximum number allowed. Only strange rule is you cannot move from one room to another. This is NSW. Room dividers are not allowed.

The statement read "until at least mid September". Really does not give a definite date.

If only they could condense all the refund and FCC complaints to one thread. This board would be a better place. Stay safe everyone.

Poets day was common in High Schools especially for those with the last period of the day free of classroom teaching. As school timetabler I cannot remember the last time I taught last period Friday. Those were the days.

NZ PM suggested that the start of the ANZAC bubble was at least two months away.

Lightkeeper’s Cottage is a homely heritage property in a stunning location. Built in 1857, the Lightkeeper’s Cottage gives guests an insight into the domestic life of the Lightstation’s first keepers.

It was a very old stone house and was rumoured to have a ghost. Their were three of us staying there and we were the only ones staying overnight. All staff left for the night and we heated up soup, quiche and apple pie prepared by the chef. We got to wander around that night but it was cold and very windy. We will never forget this stay. Just checked it was the lighthouse keeper's cottage according to their web site.

You can stay overnight in the Lighthouse Keeper cottage. We really enjoyed it. Either self cater or have dinner delivered early by the chef before the site closes down.

Staying at home and keeping safe except for medical appointment in Wollongong on Tuesday. Really not happy but must be done.
Farewell to "fireeater"
in Australia & New Zealand Cruisers

My wife Sue has passed way after a long battle with cancer. My partner of more than 50 years took me on our first cruise. I think my cruising days are now over but I intend to lurk on this board for a while yet. My love of cruising is still there.
