Been to Cairns a number of times on HAL Maasdam. Because she is small she always docked in Cairns. Made life so much easier.

Water condensation is responsible for the growth. Same as growth on the side of the roads.

At that time I was President of an NZ computer user group, affiliated with other similar user groups world wide, and I was on my way to a US computer conference. The wine festival was on a few days before so a group of us decided to attend that as well.
My real job was as a software developer.
I was president of the Australian Council for Computers in Education 95-97, an affiliate of the Australian Computer Society. My real job was as a teacher, Computer Consultant with the NSW Education Department and University lecturer. Which NZ group were you with?

Watching ABC News 24
Professor Paul Kelly is taking this one.
He says: "The main issue is although we've had some preliminary evidence over the last few days in relation to the AstraZeneca vaccine, so it does appear that it does actually influence transmission, we don't have that sort of evidence at the moment for Pfizer. Or Moderna.
"Or any of the others that are in the transition towards being used in other countries. So, at the moment — that two-week quarantine in hotels as has been so successful up till now remains regardless of vaccination."
If vaccines don't stop transmission and only stop you from getting really sick, I can't see cruising starting up again in the next 12 months.

Henry and Sue were our friends and neighbours in Broken Hill in the early 70's. Henry was a young detective back in those days.

If it erupts I hope the Chateau Tongariro Hotel remains safe. My favourite place to stay in NZ.

Merry Christmas to you all and I hope next year will be better for all of us. Maybe some day we can cruise again.

I'm in the exact same position as NSWP except mine was the NSW education scheme. When my wife died recently lost my part pension and Health Card. Such is life. Centrelink were kind enough to notify me of this less than 36 hours after her death. Fortunately my doctor does bulk bill. Oh, yes my wife and I used to cruise. We had no other income other than my pension. Thanks for your concern.

Just heard on ABC News, 1 death in every 40 seconds in US today. Bring on a new leader. Jan 20 will be too late.

Good luck with the Hospital visit Les. Hope all goes well and you recover quickly.

looks great when whole, and as for how it is served up, that way saves cutting it up into bite sized pieces.
I did say presentation was not my go but I had no trouble pouring the shiraz.

Looks a lot of healthy filling in the pie. Was it from a bakery or supermarket?
Local South Coast Butchers Pantry was the supplier. Buy pies with pastry uncooked and cook at home. They make Beef, Chicken and Leek, and Lamb and Vegetable pies as well as lots of other easy meals. My go to place.

I only seem to get recorded message ones and I have learnt that if you pick up and say nothing the call is terminated. It is your voice that activates the recording. They seem to eventually give up.

The Sydney Rock Oysters with finger lime are delicious, but I would eat any of them and they are at a special price for regular locals.

Love my oysters raw and fresh from our local oyster growers. They do sell Kilpatricks and mornay to takeaway and cook at home.

Is Harry's growing to fast? Just checked on their website and they now have 10 outlets in NSW. I remember when it was a special outing to go to Harry's. Two new outlets opening next month including Harry's Café de Wheels - Bomaderry. The temptation will be too great.

Same story as Uncle Les. Wife passed away and in less than 48hrs Centrelink emailed me to say my Pension and health cards were gone. Thanks to Uncle Les I knew what to do when they when they cancelled my Opal card. Life goes on just not as sweet.

Last weekend I drove from Greenwell Point to Newcastle and back. The M7 and M2 were at a stand still. Travel took 5hrs 20 mins on the way up but only 4hrs 5 mins on the way back. Pennant Hills Road was the least of my problems.

Our last Maasdam cruise was December/January. Sue's secondary cancer was diagnosed two weeks later. I really can't remember that much about that cruise.

Agree and I will miss the Ms Maasdam.

Got my vouchers today. Downloaded them on the my phone. Pelican Rocks Cafe is the only venue in Greenwell Point that has registered. Luck that is where I go. Going to Bundanoon this weekend but no businesses registered. I only applied today.
